Has anyone built maltby TS4 , and how do you like them?

I have the clubheads and am just waiting for the Fujikura Axiom shafts that are going in the blended set of Maltby TS irons that I am building to replace my 4-1/2 year old TS1/TS2 blended set that I sold to a regular fitting customer (and friend) about a week ago.

My new Maltby set will be a very “blended set”, due to current inventory shortages. Here is what I am building, with some loft and lie angle tweaks to address potential yardage gapping issues and lie angle inconsistency among the various models:

5 & 6-irons — TS2

7-iron — TS1 (possibly to be replaced by a TS1 IM when the clubhead becomes available)

8, 9 and PW — TS1 IM

GW — TS3 forged , also likely to be replaced eventually by a TS1IM when the head is available.

Shafts — AXIOM 75-R, hard-stepped

Grips — GP MCC +4, “team” model in burgundy and gray

Ha ha I saw that bat signal! 

I have had my TS4's for a little less than a year. I built them with KBS C-Taper Lite 110 shafts. 

I've hit just about everything out there and I'll say that these are my "soul" clubs. Everything about them is perfect to me. I'm not a low single digit but play at 8 so these do everything that I ask. They're just forgiving and not so intimidating that I don't question my life's choices when I play them. They feel insane! Off-center shots let you know what you did but don't punish you severely. 

I say if you like the way they look, and you can somewhat handle a CB or MB, you will love these!

I wanted a gap wedge easier to hit then a bladed off the rack so I gave the TS4 a try. It is so easy and consistent. I am seriously thinking of just building the set from 4 iron down to the pitching wedge.

Finished putting together 5-pw. Played 9holes with them yesterday and absolutely love them. Thank you for your advice. The bb&f co ferrules look sick with recoil dart v shaft.
