I went to several games with him. Tigers games? My father grew up in Detroit within the shadow of Briggs Stadium, the original home of the Tigers. He raised me a Tigers fan, and Al Kaline was always my favorite player (I met him a handful of times and he was a fantastic gentleman). My wife and I fly out to Detroit occasionally for a weekend series at Comerica Park. When they were downtown I had 4 season tix for work and my wife had 4 for her job and we couldn't give the tix away, so we got rid of them. Then they moved a 1/2 mile from my office and I kicked myself for getting rid of such good seats.
