ZachN97
Since I got my push cart, I’ve been happy to fill the ball pouch up. Rafe
I currently carry 6 golf balls during my rounds. This is down 6 from previous years. In the past as I would find balls, if they were what I played(Pro V 1s) I would clean them up, mark it(3 Blue dots) and keep them in the bag. At different times I would have close to 18 balls in my carry bag…NOT SMART…Soooo this year I still clean & mark good finds, but keep anything over 6 balls in a small container in the back on the car. Much easier on my back!!! KINGWinston
I generally carry around a dozen. I used to carry around 6-8 (8 if the course is loaded with water that i can't seem to not hit it over the water haha). But now I play with my younger brother who continuously abuses that little brother card and ask for a ball or two after he's sprayed them around the course I always have another dozen in a bag in the car that'll i'll practice with and have in case of emergency, I've walked out onto a course before with 2 balls in my bag before and couldn't help but think "I'm losing both these as soon as i get away from the club house" Rob Person 1 Quote Driver: M4 - 10.5* Fairway: M4 3-Wood Hybrid: M4 3H - 19* Irons: Nike 4i VRS Irons: M4 5-AW Wedges: 52* MyMG2 & 60* MGIII Tiger Woods Putter: 2024 Spider Ghost Ball: ProV1 - #

Franc38
I typically try to get 3 new balls in my bag before a round... However, as I keep finding balls, I usually end up with north of 10 balls of various makes and states in addition to the 3 new (then 2 new and one old) that I really play with. The "found around" ones are used for provisionals or when I want to play a second or third version "to see and learn". Tgauthier21
I carry at least four sleeves of new balls plus whatever i had leftover from my last round, or balls that I found. So usually 15-16 are in play for any given round. I figure if I burn through those I don’t deserve to finish the rest of the round. biggest issue now is the 10 Boxes of Vice and new TP5x sitting in my basement, plus colored balls that I can never find. JusTzin
When I play my local course I’m usually happy with three to four balls in my bag. sabramFL
I carry 10-12 at any time. No real reason for that number. I don't lose many as I'm a pretty short &straight hitter. 4-6 should be plenty, but you never know what might happen, especially on courses with lots of water. During my last round I lost the ball that I'd played for 3+ rounds. I grew attached to that ball even though it was pretty scuffed . On the other hand, last month I tin-cupped two balls into the same pond on the same hole. The second one was brand new. Hated to lose one on its first stroke. Balls are just on lease, not owned bama no 1, Rob Person and Terryl Bowen 3 Quote Ping g 430 irons & hybrid Taylor Made Stealth 2 HD driver &fairways
zotparkerm
I have as many variables as I do balls (other than the obvious two!)If walking I start with 6-8. I like to have a good quantity to warm up the chipping and putting (for which 100 would likely be more appropriate). my wife’s service dog almost always accompanies us so I start with a couple of ‘chewers’ and he usually finds 2-3 more. I keep them if they are a tip tier ball. He gets them for yard practice if not. I’ve just recently started breaking 80. Prior to that I usually had a dozen in case things went “off”. To date I have only had three rounds where one ball made the distance. Langstonha
i carry 5-7 and usually pickup a few during the round. I don't have much time to practice with different brands of balls so sometimes I'll play just one ball I've never tried and other times I'll try one ball on the front and a different one on the back for comparison. Gmorenojr
I have evolved over the years. When I first started playing, it was probably as many as I could fit in the ball pocket - maybe 30 balls. since I got back into playing more regularly, I’ve trimmed that number down considerably. now I carry no more than 12. 9 in a old valuables pouch that in keep my bag in case the wheels fall of the round. 3 in the cart with me that I’ll use during the round. flsw19
Depends on the golf course, generally put a new sleeve of either the Vice Pro Plus or the Wilson Staff - which means I will have about 12 balls.
