Club Champion Lies/Lofts adjusted

Recommended Posts

Hello! Has anybody taken their irons to get the lies/lofts adjusted on a whole set? I bought mine there in 2020 and curious if this is something that takes a week or just an hour or so....

I would guess every store is different depending on their backlog of work and how much staff they have.  The easiest way to find out is probably a phone call to the store vs posting here.

Bending doesn't take particularly long, so it's a matter of when the shop can do it.

My T350s were bent for flat lie angle so I could play slightly longer shafts at the original fitting.
The lofts were unchanged.

Here's just a fun fact, not intended for controversy.
T350s are just about spot on for 1950s lofts, just two clubs strong.
If you play them a little long and flat,
the 4-GW2 are a 1950s 2-PW set, only with modern tech and different sole stamping.
The cool part is that with modern lighter shafts,
the extra length doesn't make the swing-weight too heavy.

Everybody says the stamping doesn't matter,
and if you adopt that approach, which I now have,
the game improvement models are actually easier to convert to classic lofts
than the "players" irons are.
Especially the models which go down to extra gap wedges.

Getting lofts and lies bent how you want them isn't hideously expensive
if you failed to do it at initial purchase,
and in my view, it's well worth the modest expense.

As it is, we all play "toe up" with driver.
No need to not have our irons right.
