Be Careful What You Wish For!

Much to our surprise, only one of you violated the no robot rule (DISQUALIFIED), and more surprisingly still, not a single one of you (at least as of last Friday) mentioned our complete inability to get through a single post without a misspelling, or without using “they're” when we mean “their”, or “there” or possibly even “the hair”. I don't know…we make a lot of mistakes – it's hard to keep track.

 

Anyway, thanks for not noticing, thanks for not saying anything, or you're all a bunch of oblivious idiots. Whichever is the reality.

 

We did, of course, receive an abundance of suggestions. Some are outstanding, some simply reflect a lack of understanding of what goes on behind the scenes here, and some well…for some there may not be words.

 

We've decided to use this as an opportunity to respond to a few of the more compelling, or at least repetitive responses we received, along with some of our favorites, and of course, some of the ones we couldn't make sense out of. In the true spirit of MyGolfSpy, we didn't bother to correct anybody's grammar or spelling.

That was stevenhw, and I am as bad as I say I am . Getting better slowly though and my swing felt fantastic the other day. Keep in mind in school I was picked for gym sports teams by friends, not because of talent.

I thought the rule was never to correct someone else's grammar or spelling, unless the error makes it so incredibly funny it should be shared. I have gone back several times and see where I left out a word or misspelled a word and fixed it and no one ever said anything. And there have been some doozies.

I exchanged some comments with a lady golfer on this site last week, and she remarked about no women's section. T is so right about most female's interest in golf equipment. My wife, has her own set of ladies' clubs, but has been playing my old FT5 with a men's stiff shaft for a number of years. Since I got an FT9. When I got the Razr Fit, I got an appropriate flex Fubuki shaft and put in the FT9 and gave to her. She said she was happy with the FT5. I paint filled the bottom of the FT9 pink and put a pink grip on it and she loves the FT9 now. Women!

It was pointed out to me out front in this subject post that I use ellipses improperly....I do know the proper usage of ellipses, though I like to use dots to seperate my sentences & thoughts....

 

I do appreciate you guys tolerating all of my double posts, typos & incorrect usage of ellipses and not pointing out all of my errors....

 

I really appreciate it....

Oops! I made fun of your double posts on another thread. However, I have done it, and for some reason, I can not enter a comment without it double or triple or even quadruple posting. And if I open a link, it opens two but just from this site. So the problem may be more software related than user error. I would much rather kid you about something that is not your fault than something that is a short coming.

 

The spelling comes from the slang that we all have, depending on where you live. I know for me it is hard not to type that our first President was George Warshington.

This was a great read. Especially when we look backwards at how many of the suggestions were incorporated. Besides video and get togethers, all the rest of the check boxes seem to have been ticked. Really warms my heart 🧡🧡

 

Funny that the questions about more content for the women came up as the first ever Most Wanted Women's Driver test was just conducted. Still think more could be done on that front but it's a start.

 

Anywho, GREAT read for all of you guys. I highly recommend flipping through the Blog article where T responds to the comments.
