  1. I've never played at night for score only fun. It isn't often mind you. I think night golf is ranked right next to top golf. It's fun but you probably won't get much from it imo. Add lights to courses in the south and that's an open invite to the mosquitos and that ain't cool lol

  2. This is great advice!! I've played blades, MB and cavity backs....the Speedblades will definitely be a better fit for a beginner and they will grow with you for a long time.

As you can see from my WITB I'm still playing a set now.

I put mine back in the bag last week, enjoy playing them again.

With that said, its fun to switch back and forth with my Wishons

It's what all the cool kids are playing

  3. Yesterday my Cut scooted into the woods and I found a Hogan ball. Said The Hawk. Never played them and know less about them. But I finished my round with it, 4 holes, and it played really well. What's the info on these balls? Where do I get more? If cheap I'd love to take them to Muscle Shoals in a few weeks.

  4. Posted a humbling 95 yesterday at Forest hills in Drummond TN. Played from the tip roughly 6600 and with the wind it probably was 6800 lol. One par 3 played at 260 but down hill. Caught my 3 wood in the screws and came up 5 yds short of the green. It was a fun day to me but others not so much.

Some rounds you just enjoy even if you get whipped

  5. Weekly league round today. Cold windy cartpath only. Same story different day lol.

We started the round with 24 guys and finished with 20. Four dropped after 9 calling it a day.

Wind chill of 36 with a steady 15 mph wind will do that to you.

I carded a 85 and by hole 14 I was rushing all my shots. Wedge game and putting was just a guess between the cold and the gloves. Oh how I long for our southern heat to hurry up and get here. Maybe next weekend will be better. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

  6. It's like mother nature doesn't like golf. Cloudy and windy with a high about 50. I think if it isn't cartpath only today that'll be a big win.

    Hit'em good guys.

  7. Wrapped up our league Masters 2 day tourny yesterday. Day one warm and windy. I hit one 8 iron shot and backed it up. It just was still 100 ft in the air when it did lol. Promise that ball got to its apex. Stopped and drifted back about 8 yds leaving me short of the green. Ego smashed.

Day 2 was after a hard downpour that left us cartpath only.

Our team defended the title well but mother nature just took a toll on us.

I'm so sick of rain. It quit being funny long ago!

  8. Man, when I see Loudmouth pants, all I can think of is those Zubaz pants that were popular in the 80's. I kinda like it, though.....

  9. Funny that many of you are bagging on the Top Flite stuff. Me, really not knowing any better (but am paying attention), just grabbed a bucket of TF X-Outs from DSG the other day so I could have a bunch of "el-cheapos" to hit into my backyard net. I have not been out golfing enough yet to collect all the lost shots from around the courses to amass my own collection of misfits. Based on what I'm hearing here, maybe I made a poor choice..? These "feel" OK to me-not "rocky", but I really don't know how they truly perform since they just dribble out of the net, nor am I wanting to find out. These are simply my "hitting" balls. I can tell when I flush one clean or when I mishit one, so I get good feedback that way.

Suggestions for better personal range balls?

Any ball you find is a good back yard practice ball imo
