Looks like @Collins923 is gearing up for the playoffs -- that's our first 200+ point game (left 8 points on the bench too). Nice week!

I left 16 points on the bench if you count forgetting to activate Thielen off IR...  I hope my team is peaking at the right time and not blowing their load before the playoffs start, one or the other...

So, I know what you're all thinking... where do we sit for Playoff Spots going into the final game of week 13? Well, I'm going to do my best to break it all down for you.

    BUCKY DIVISION

The byes have been settled here, @Apolloshowl and @Bucky CC will get the byes to the divisional final. Also set are the 4 teams playing in our wild card shootout, with @golferKen, @poprocksncoke, TexasDVN, and @mudfish playing each other in some order.

    SHOOTER DIVISION

Congrats to @ChiefMikeOfficer for locking down one of those byes. The other one comes down to tonight between @Undershooter and @russtopherb. If Undershooter beats GB13 he'll clinch the second bye via total points tiebreaker, if he takes the loss it goes to Russ. The other 3 available spots is a 4 way race between @ZJBogey2, @Tarheelvolvo, @DJ Mico, and Stroker Ace. I don't have time to dig in deep here, but one of these teams is gonna be sadly sitting out.

    BERG DIVISION

Man, did @Collins923 show out this week or what? He earns one of my divisions byes as does @PA_Golfer. As for the 4 wild cards, @Rwagn4 is in for sure, I'm likely in on the tiebreaker at the very least, @revkev has the inside track on one, so it's a race for 1 among 3 teams; @Getoffmylawn, @goaliewales14, and @Josh Ross with Goalie looking like he's gonna get to the line first.

    STUD DIVISION

Finally, we get to the Stud division, and noticeable by his absence from the playoff picture is @GolfSpy STUDque, making him the only commissioner to miss the playoffs (love you brother!)

Now onto the good news, Da Bears 2100 has earned a bye, and based on this weeks results @walnutz03 is going to get that second bye over @Manimal26

But that's not all bad for Manimal, he'll go into the wildcard shootout as the highest seed, along with @B.Boston, @GolfSpy MPR, and @KurtActual. IMO the Stud division has been the most competitive near the top so anything can and should be expected here.

Great write up Berg, as a huge numbers nerd, I loved trying to see where things were playing out with 5 teams in play for a bye in our division.  I've never done a fantasy league before, but this free league was by far my favorite I was in this year.  56 teams, 2 games per week, so much stimulation for a numbers guy

The key takeaways are 1) Wednesday counts if it happens and 2) waivers run roughly 2 hours after the completion of that game.

I just read this, does this mean the waiver claims I just put in won't count? I'm confused on the wording of the "waiver blackout"

"In other words, there will be a waiver "blackout" from Monday night until Wednesday. Any waiver events that you have scheduled between the end of the Monday night game and the end of the Wednesday game will be postponed until after the Wednesday game is finished being processed."

Or does it just mean if your league settings is for waivers to process on Tuesday or Wednesday morning it will be delayed until Wednesday at 10 est ish?

I am a Dallas Cowboys fan, we are leading the worse division on the league right now, the Cardinals are oing to destroying us tonight, but looking at it, we can win the east at 6 and 10.

Actually, did you know that with the current format of the NFL a team can go to the wild card round without winning a single game?

All it is needed is to go 0-10-6, tying all of the divisional games, and having a stronger schedule against the rest of the division.

    Divisional tiebreakers

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games (games played against the same opponents).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory (the combined won-lost-tied percentage of all the teams that a club has defeated).
Strength of schedule (the combined won-lost-tied percentage of all the teams that a club has played against).
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in common games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.

Just think about it, if the stars align, we could have my cowboys win the Superbowl with a very bad regular season schedule.

No I do not like it, and I think that the NFL should change the way that the playoff teams earn a playoff spot.

I actually like the format as is, but I would say if you're less then .500 you should have to go on the road in the wild card round.

Alright guys I’m willing to move CEH, Goff, Mattison, Slayton, Schultz, and Bell. Send me some offers. Looking for QB, RB, and WR.

Talk about a confusing backfield you got there with CEH and Bell

Looks like Gordon will be facing suspension after DUI charge. Good news for myself and other Lindsay fans.

I'm just glad he can get his bye week he was complaining about missing.  Now he can be healthy and rested for the stretch run.

If you’re really concerned, use two balls. Not sure where I first heard it but one ball in play and one in your (warm) pocket, and swap balls at each tee. The ball doesn’t get uniformly cold to the core instantly.

I used to buy lower compression balls in winter (Chicago) but I quit worrying about it years ago. Makes little difference for 95% of us.

This is the best answer.  Cook a couple in your pocket on the way to the course and then alternate between two or three balls so that you're always playing a warm ball.

    WAIVER NOTE

So, we didn't think we would need to have waivers since we were all drafting right before week 1, but apparently we forgot the consideration of auto-drafters who may want a change. So what we're doing is the following. We are keeping the current waiver calendar set up for them to process next week as to not screw up anything we have set-up with the calendar, but I am going to manually process the waiver requests on Thursday at 9 am. I will also be processing waivers if need be manually on Sunday morning as well. Best of luck Bucky drafters, I'll be there tonight for support!

Berg do I make my waiver picks in the app or do I have to send them to you directly?  Apparently because I didn't rank any kickers I never got one...

  8. I want a ride on the roller coaster, I went 7th, 7th, and then jumped all the way up to 6th!

Are we allowed (read: is it possible to) trade draft picks during the draft? I like moving around the board from round to round when I draft in person with my buddies, not sure if that's doable here.
