Cool. It’s interesting he’s focusing on the eyes and head movement. What drills or thoughts is he giving you for those?
Since you want to to be nosy it was for my curiosity. Those seemed to be working on symptoms rather than a cause. After all it’s a public golf forum open for discussion.
So what you claim is being nosy I feel was me asking a simple question that you took offense to. When In fact I asked a question what it had to do with his quest to break 80. You could have said for your own curiosity or because you feel they are treating symptoms not causes. ... your opinion is your own brah... but I am not sure how you could know that the drills are treating anything when you have no clue what A.) the drills are even or B.) what his coaches plan is and C.) as a 9.3 HDCP index what makes you feel qualified to state your opinion with out anything to back it up?
if you want to pick someone apart make fact lacking claims or opinions go do it on WRX, but my MGS is about “giving a s***”
So before you throw an opinion out in this public forum thread where someone is committed to improving at least provide some value to the conversation instead of trying to satisfy your own selfish curiosity and throwing opinions out that have no basis...

Are you still working on the drill(s) from your coach?
Are these things he’s talked to you about or things you are working on based on some research other swing coaches videos and/or feedback from members here?
@RickyBobby_PR I am not sure what those questions have to do with him on his goal to break 80, but his swing looks so improved from even just a few weeks back.
@dlow206 keep it up man whatever you are doing seems to be working so I’d stick with it!

This being my first season, I did enjoy it, just did really bad, but I have no problem on trying a different platform next season.
This being my first season ever playing fantasy football period, I found the site easy once you got familiar. That said I have no reference to anything else so change stay does not matter to me... I just wish there was some more time between picks on draft day... I had a blast this season and this fantasy golf thing I am hearing has me interested for sure!

That is honestly one of the best shaft lineups I have seen. Not to many choices but for $449.99 def a reason to look cobras way vs the other big OEM's

How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I've been playing about two year and a half. I'm at 13 at the moment.

What do you love about golf? Compete the game with myself. Striving to get better.

What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies?
Looking for some product reviews and found that it's a pretty good platform for looking up that info. Don't know any other spies. -
Where are you from? What is your home course?
Austin, TX. Falconhead -
What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?
The weather. It's freaking hot in the summer. But it rarely snows in the winter. So basically I can play in all seasons. -

Definitely a great time to do it; I'm refinancing our Nebraska house. VA refinance...2.25%, down a whole point.
We thought about doing our house in Maryland to but will probably sell it. That one is on my wife's VA loan; we've had tenants for the past 5 years.
My plan is to acquire houses, eventually build some casinos, and ultimately run for president...
Casinos to president... that model has already been used ...

In this case it was just plain ol' forgetfulness... my car battery was dead so as I was popping the hood and getting my cables out, my buddy hopped into the cart to return it while I was getting everything ready to hook up to his battery for a jump. I always do a walk-around of the cart to check the basket, dash storage, etc. and I didn't do that so the rangefinder was stuck to the side of the cart. Totally not his fault, it's mine for being preoccupied with the dead battery. It is what it is.
range finders almost never get turned in... I left my V5 shift and got super lucky someone was honest... That sucks someone kept it...

Good to be here! I really do love their layout, but that 6th hole is ruthless.
Its well kept... the US open qualifier was there a few years back... Is 6 that almost 500 yard par 4? Id have to go back and look... If I remember its 7,100 yards par 71... is it the same?

WOW. Coming from a southerner never in my life would I have thought hockey was that expensive.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. League fee fees as an adult are $1,100 a year per person. I play in 2 leagues one is invite only which luckly is free. My other team is sponsored so it helps the cost. Also have a travel tournament team we do 4-5 a year all over the country... but playing hockey helps with the golf swing!

Hey everyone! I've been using MyGolfSpy for years for equipment suggestions/reviews (just to look at mostly), but am new to the forums. I'm typically more of a lurker, but want to come out of hiding!
- I started "playing" when I was 12, but it was really just going to the range with my Dad and trying to hit golf balls every couple of weeks. My first time on the course didn't come until I was 20! I started trying to actually get better at the game within the last 2 years. I usually shoot in the high 90s to low 100s at my local course.
- I just love getting out there and challenging myself to play better. It's a great way to get outside, exercise, and spend time with friends. It's also a great way to test your mental fortitude.
- I've been using MyGolfSpy for equipment reviews and product reviews for a long time now. I don't have the disposable income to be constantly replacing my equipment, so I live vicariously through all of you!
- I live in Rockwall, TX and most frequently play at Buffalo Creek Golf Club.
- The best thing about golfing in Texas is that I can play all 12 months of the year! The worst thing has to be the summer heat that makes afternoon rounds almost impossible for 2-3 months of the year.
- I work as an Engineer for a living.
- My username comes from an inside joke with my friends/family! I've been using it for way longer than I've been golfing!
Thanks for not lurkeing anymore! Buffalo creek is a great track! very challenging I play it from time to time!

So with the last run they had some great no charge shaft options like the CK pro blue. There was no catalog update with this anyone have the word on when that is getting a refresh?

Not gonna lie, as much as I love hockey I was not too sad when my son decided he didn't want to progress up to the next level after playing as a 7 year old. He liked it, but it just wasn't for him. My friend's son plays travel hockey and the money is insane.
When I was playing roller hockey even that was decently expensive when considering league fees, equipment replacement like wheels & bearings, new sticks... golf almost seems cheap by comparison (sometimes).
When I was 17 playing Tier I hockey travel alone cost around $10K

Maybe I'll show your post to my wife and tell her she's lucky that I golf vs. hockey
My wife hates me since I do both ... but I’ll have to post some pics of me playing... hockey sticks can be like long drivers vs fairway finders... you will find forwards like Ovi playing softer flex to help launch quickly but it’s timing as well... vs a big defenseman who plays a heavier stiffer flex... low kick points high kick points it’s no different than a golf shaft...

@golfinnuttheres always the used market if you think prices are unreasonably high, which you have a reasonable case for. there are a LOT or once or twice hit TSi drivers out there that people are selling
Highway robbery... guy has a 6TX and wants $300... tried $150 and gave me the bird...

I hear you my dad wanted the same thing and so they made it work and I count myself lucky they could and hope to do the same for my kids if they want to. I was never very good but I enjoyed it for sure.
Hockey is much more expensive than golf... as someone who played at a high level and still does I am lucky to have connections, but $1000 for skates $1800 for sticks for a season and travel cost adds up... glad to have sponsorship for sure... but sticks that break at $300 a pop is getting out of hand...

I've seen a number of bad experiences with MGS and other sites. However, I think getting fit on a proper launch monitor with someone who is only looking a charts is probably better than guessing at a golf shop. However, I really think the problem with Club Champion is their business model is essentially trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. They can get away with this to a certain degree because getting properly fit is complicated and most people aren't willing to go down the golf equipment rabbit hole like many of us on MGS. I'm sure the numbers for CC work out nicely on a PowerPoint in front of a group of managers at a PE firm. However, I think the number one sin they commit is not offering stock options at the same cost as what you can order them for from OEMs. If the golf market sold shaft and heads separately normally, this would be different but when was the last time anyone walked into a golf shop that had heads on one rack and shafts on another? I know I never have. I would be on board with their business model if the specialized in component clubs like those from Maltby and Hireko. However, charging someone $2000 for a $1000 stock set of clubs with DG S300 shafts is disingenuous. Another problem with CC that probably shows up the most is slow build times. It sounds like they don't really have their supply chain set up to support their business. This was problem pre-COVID and COVID amplified the lack of relationships they have with suppliers. This also supports my theory that the PE firm is pushing for fast growth and that makes it difficult for the businesses admin and support functions to keep up. If someone who knows of a PE firm investing in growing businesses in a stable and healthy way let me know because I have yet to see it.
Anyone reading this who is unsure of CC, I would recommend searching online and finding a local fitter. A fitter doesn't need a $20K launch monitor to fit you really well. I'm sure there are some good CCs out there that have a good fitter. However, if you're going to spend that level of money on golf, you may as well find a local guy because CC is likely the most expensive fitter in town. Wishon has a good network of fitters that can help you and if you are located in a bigger city there is likely a golf shop with experienced fitters and good launch monitors that are going to offer stock OEM offerings.
@Kansas King if you only new how bad CC really operates... if you care to know I am happy to pick this up on a DM... but you are educated enough to avoid this trap... but you are right on track with your assumptions...
I won’t digress any further, that being said good shops will and should exshaust all the no charge options before going to upcharge... also let’s say you are going with t-100 and want TI x100 from Titleist they are $20 a shaft and at CC they have $40... if you read between the lines you will catch what I am getting at...

none of the above. i avoid short-term rentals like the plague for a bunch of reasons.
1. you’re gonna have to use a management company which will eat into your margins pretty heavily
2. people who rent short term vacation properties don’t give two craps about your property. they treat it like a flop house and clean up after themselves just well enough to get their security deposit back.
for reference - i’m a landlord in my day job. i own commercial real estate in New York, and a few residential properties in Florida. i’ve tried short term a few times and i’ve regretted it each time. i’d stay really far away from short term rentals.
Did a bang bros episode happen in one of your Florida houses???

Those are great iron shafts for sure. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been happy with project x 7.0 but miss the smoothness of Nippon. I have a similar aggressive transition probably due to D1 college baseball. I’m sure you have the same issue can hit it a mile but can also have bad misses.
So similar in many ways hockey and baseball transitioning to golf... you are probably much much stronger than me... I make up the difference in quickness... over the last year been working really hard and I am down to a -4 HDCP... going from here has been so tough... Dude your not kidding on bad misses... when I miss it’s big and bad

Okay I heard the Ralph Maltby site has a forum full of opinions like your’s below, Or quit posting and making opinions that have no factual basis. Your call dude...
This does not look like a question, but I could be confused. Also he never answered so not sure how you “ascertained” the information required to form such an opinion. You also failed to answer any of my questions as well. So your last post looks about as creditable as your opinion.
If you truly want to get back to @dlow206 journey quit making excuses consider an apology and maybe take a second to think how something might come across.
Again choice is yours dude...
