ChappyEight
What all do you put in your push cart consoles? Just picked up a Sun Mountain Speed Cart GT, haven't played a round with it yet. What all do you put in the console besides the scorecard? Just curious what you all have deemed most useful and/or efficient. https://shop.sunmountain.com/Speed-Cart-GT-20119-detail.html Thanks, Chappy Driver: Mizuno JPX-900 3 Wood: Mizuno JPX-900 3 Hybrid: Mizuno JPX-900 4 Hybrid: Mizuno JPX-900 Irons: (5-6) Mizuno MH-5, (7-PW) Mizuno MP-5 50°: Mizuno S18 (Gun Metal) 54°: Mizuno S18 (Gun Metal) 58°: Mizuno S18 (Gun Metal) Putter: Odyssey O-Works #9 (WBW) Ball: Snell MTB-Red
STUDque
I've got a Cliqgear. The dash has scorecard, pencil, and tee holders. Inside the console, it's got ball holders and a little space like a glove box. I don't usually put much in the "glove box" besides a few extra tees and my receipt to give to the starter. I use all of the other things to the max. I use my phone for GPS so I throw that in the mesh pouch that comes off of that. Everything else stays in the bag in its normal place. TBT
I have a clic gear 3.5, the console has a holder for 3 balls, so I keep a fresh sleeve in there, my cell phone, some extra tees, chap stick, a couple of pencils from the course and a sharpie to mark balls. yungkory
How do stand bags fair on the Clicgears? STUDque
I used to have a Qoda (Ogio subsidy) stand bag and it faired just fine on my Clicgear. Didn't shift or slide or anything as those elastic straps do an excellent job holding it in place. I only got a cart bag for the dividers and extra pockets (plus the stand bag was like 7 years old and started to show its age). Since I no longer have to schlep the bag around the course, it doesn't matter how much I pack it up anymore. Kanoito
Clicgear user as well. I have 3 balls in it, a pack of tissues for cold days and scorecard if it's raining. Otherwise it will just go outside the compartment with the pencil holder. Phone, keys, etc. all go in the golf bag to protect them from the sun. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted August 2, 2017 SPY VIP Share Posted August 2, 2017 My Clicgear usually just has phone, balls, and pitch tool. If it's really hot I move the phone to the net because I've had it overheat and fail in the enclosure before. I always forget bug spray. I only ever need it once a year though. I just remembered another, water bottle. Mine has a cup holder and it's really nice to have one attached. I got one of those Brita filter bottles to keep it sanitary. ChappyEight
Good thought. I have one of these guys for my phone so it seems as though my console "drawer" will be relatively empty most of the time, which is just fine. STUDque
So I was setting up for my round yesterday and oh, lookie here. There's Chapstick in my dash! I don't remember putting it in there but man am I glad I did! Chap stick can be better than bug spray in the clutch. No one wants sunburnt lips.
