What is that extra buckle everyone has on their belt? Is that just some Hero swag or does it serve some sort of purpose?

Not sure what you mean by extra buckle, but my guess would be player credentials. Every player on all tours get a “buckle” of some type that they have to show to get past security at tournaments. Generally, the players clip it to their belts.

I’m guessing he’s talking about the players “pin”

like you said every tournament a player gets one at “pin” of some sort. Some events players have it on their hat or their shirt. Or in the case of the hero the belt

It isn’t a tournament by tournament thing, it is the same credential for the entire year. On the PGA tour it like a money clip.

I know for the masters and it may be for the other majors they have a “pin” for lack of better term they are issued one for the tournament

I am sure the majors and invitation only events like the Ryder cup do something special. I am pretty sure the general tournaments are single credential, but I might be wrong after doing a google search.

This must be it. It looks like a money clip. I didn’t see it on everyone, but enough that I bet they all had it somewhere. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. I’ll have to watch out for it at the next tournament.
