Moecat
First off, thank you for joining the MyGolfSpy forum! As for myself, I'm Morris and I'm a bit of a golf nut who both enjoys playing the game and learning as much as I can about it. More importantly, I consider myself to be a very lucky husband to a beautiful and generous wife and a proud father of a wonderful 3 1/2 year old daughter. If any of you have any questions or require assistance, please don't hesitate to contact the moderators or administrators. Again, welcome to MyGolfSpy and thank you very much for joining! mcbush25
I'll follow Morris and tell everyone about myself... My name is C.J. and I'm a die hard golf enthusiast. I love playing the game and learning all aspects of the game from equipment to the mechanics of the swing. I look forward to meeting everyone on the forum and learning from them and hopefully I can help someone else learn something. As Morris said if you need any assistance please don't hesitate to ask. SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted March 2, 2010 SPY VIP Share Posted March 2, 2010 Hi All My name is Dave and I am in Sacramento, CA. Just took up this silly/amazing game two years ago at 38. So challenging yet so rewarding. I have issues with club purchase impulse control, especially putters. Had my current Byron in the bag since last June, but I keep looking around at others. Only working two days a week now, so I am hoping that I can improve my game this Spring with lots of time at the range. Drop the kids at school and beat balls is the plan. Providing the rain stops... NGage
Ok....just read the thread and realized I left some things out, LOL (not padding...I promise). I'm 43, married, father of two boys, originally from TN but now live in KC, long ago used to work in the golf business in a few different capacities (retail, clubs/courses). I belong to a club and play as often as I can....usually 75+ rounds a year. I'm roughly a 10 handicap, give or take a few depending on how I'm playing (I can fire a 74 or a 90, LOL....wait...that's not funny....that's maddening). I'm an adherent of Jim Hardy's teaching methods, and do my best to follow his one-plane swing ideas. I've got a small little club collection going, and always like to add to it when I can on the cheap. Look forward to getting to know some of you on here. Richie3Jack
My handle gives my name. I started playing golf at 11 years old. I'm at the point now where I'm more into getting vintage clubs and fixing them up and making them almost like new. Some people rebuild old cars, I like to rebuild old clubs. Currently I have a few sets of old Hogan irons and would like to get more. I always enjoyed the Web site though and look forward to the forum. 3JACK Author of Pro Golf Synopsis.
