Sluggo42
I just got a set of the ptxpro’s and a set of the equalizer wedges. I only got about 5-6 rounds tho, but nothing but high marks. But that was coming from playing mizuno blades. they feel fantastic, and the v-sole gets thru the turf really nicely the sound they make is also very good, probably contributes to the brain thinking they feel good. they spin nicely too, and hold greens really well. High soaring shots. And this is with the kbs V-tour 110 shafts, which are supposed to be med flight and low spin shafts. one of my regular playing partners says he thinks they’re a much better fit for me than the blades were. I’ve also shot some better scores. so I don’t have much to say in a negative light, but lots of positives. SoFloGolfer24
I was able to test out the Edge irons for 2 weeks before this virus shut everything down. They sent a 6 and a 9 iron, the irons came in a KBS S Taper 115 shaft. They looked great, but the head itself was too heavy and I wasn't feeling the shaft. If they were to offer it with a different shaft might have been a better experience.

aggiesam1983
I think the Icons are great looking clubs, as are the PTx Pro irons. As soon as they have some Icons for their demo program I plan to test them. I don't know how the modern Hogan clubs compare to the Hogans of the past but back in the 80's and 90's I think Hogan made some of the best irons on the market. I don't believe they are associated at all with the old company except through the trademark but they are doing all the right things today and their direct to consumer model has really held down their prices. Gsi10561
I have the PTX pro black 4-pw & 50,54,58 wedges. I am more than happy with the irons. 4 degree gapping throughout the set. The irons look awesome in my bag. They are forged and you have to hit them. These are not your starter set. If you are shooting in the 80’s you can play them. Not as much a fan of the wedges but they aren’t bad. AmishJason
I went ahead and added my name to their waiting list. Signed up to Demo a pair of Edge irons. I saw the article on them and even before that I had come across them and I was really impressed by the shape of the irons. I like the shape of all Ben Hogan irons, but I'm not about the demo Icon irons any time soon. I know my skillset can't handle true blade irons and I may not be able to handle the Edge irons either, but $20 is $20. Anyhow, they're disclaimer on the website says they are running at a limited capacity, so I'll just sit back and (im)patiently wait. I have a week off work to start May, so if they show up by then, that's even better.
