tony@CIC 17,331
Going to replace my putter grip - is there an easy way to remove it? I use the Golfworks grip cutter for my regular grips. This grip seems a bit thick for it. Box knife perhaps? Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy I am assuming this is a standard steel shaft on the putter? Box cutter may work, just be careful with your fingers. I tend to like to save my grips, so I have a grip saver remover that you work into the grip with some solvent. Was taking one of these big foam ones off of a putter today and it took like 30 minutes of hard work. 1 Quote Follow my golf journey to break into the 80s Current tester for the Titleist TSi Driver Spring 2020 MGS Tester for the Fujikura Motore X Shaft Updated 12/27/2020 Driver: TSi 2 - Graphite Design AD-XC 6S Hybrids: SIM Max 3H, 4H - Matrix Ozik 85S Irons: ZX5 5 - PW - Nippon Modus 120 S Wedges: CBX 2 54, CBX Full Face 58 - KBS Hi-Rev S Putter: ER2
cnosil 15,501
I've just used a basic utility knife; if shafts are graphite just be careful. 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* set to 16.5* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 816H1 19* set at 18* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 588 54-14, 58-12 Putter: Ten S Backups: 6330, ER2.2, Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

Cut slow and go back over the original cut lines , again slow. Steel shafts easier imo. If graphite just take your time. Good luck. McGolf 272
TOny, Make two slits about a 1/2" apart then remove the piece you made and thee rest will be easy. A hook blade will work too. It may take two passes but it better than a straight blade. 2 Quote Driver - 44.5" 5.0 flex 10.5 deg ACCRA tour Z GP MCC4+ 1 deg closed Irons - 5-pw, GW stnd length 5.0 flex same grip 1 deg flat.
