eads77m
Looking for a budget used driver $75 to $150 or something best bang for the buck. Just reaching out for ideas. I may end going up to $250 and buy a couple year old driver if needed, but I though I would reach out here first. bens197
Check out 2nd swing and or Global golf. Reference the MGS most wanted drivers report from years past to help you get an idea of what you would want. Good luck! pouetvl
If not I would check golf facebook group or message board for some user selling drivers below the resale value of globalgolf, callaway or 2nd swing.
fozcycle
Try Touredgecom. Then select their Certified PreOwned. Agreed, CPO or a slightly older used Cobra would very likely fit your budget. Don't forget CPO also sells other brands, usually at a heavier discount than their own clubs, looking to sell off clubs they got in trade. bens197 and PMookie 2 Quote In my carry bag: ST-X 10.5* Kai'li Blue R Flex ST-Z 15* Kai/li Blue R Flex ST-Z 4h Linq Blue R Flex Launcher 5h Launcher CBX 6i-PW CBX 54* & 58* Huntington Beach #10 e12 Contact CURRENTLY TESTING - Mizuno Long Game
juspoole
Good options above. One odd thing I've found is that 2nd Swing, Global Golf, Hurricane Golf, etc. also have eBay pages and usually they are cheaper on there for some reason opposed to the website. Do you have any idea with the driver you are looking for? You can always go to Golf Galaxy or similar type store and try some pre owned drivers to see what you like. Or give some of the new drivers a test more so to get a feel for the shaft you like. Then do some research on similar shafts, ie mid launch, low launch low spin and so on. bens197 1 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 2 Hybrid: TSI3 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X (17.25*) 3 Hybrid 818 H2 Hybrid Hzrdus RDX Black 6.5 (20.5*) 4 Iron - T200 4 Iron Graphite Design Tour AD IZ X Hybrid Shaft Irons 5-PW: T100-S 5 - GW KBS Tour 130 X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Phantom 5.5 34" Pro Platinum Newport 2 35" Taylormade Tour Black Spider 34"
Bossfan
Cobra F6, F7 and maybe the F8 are all really good drivers in that price range. I played the F7 until recently. Another option might be the Tour Edge EXS. I tried one at a demo day when it came out and really liked it. If I wasn’t already buying irons that year I’d probably seriously considered buying it. I just replaced the F7 with the ESX 220 which is also very good but costs more than you want to spend. JDHolmes
Look at Ping G and G30 also. They're a few years older, but pre-dare the G400, look very similar. I played both before the G400. Good drivers and they have Low spin and straight flight (SFT) versions.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
txgolfjunkie
Search this site and other BST sites (g*olfwrx, THP, etc) for guys unloading their stash. Ebay is great but buyer beware. Counterfeit galore. Drivers to look for: TaylorMade M2 Callaway Great Big Bertha Ping G and G30 Srixon Z765 Tour Edge Exotics XCG There's other great budget drivers, but those come to mind. It will take some research to find one in your price range. Good luck. eads77m
Thanks for all the help guys Actually found a Callaway Rouge Draw Driver with a Hazrdous Shaft on CPO in very good Condition. Was about 167 with tax a little out side of the budget but figured it would be worth it since would be a little newer than most. Have bought a driver since 2010 so it was due. silver & black
Just go to your local golf shop. I'm sure they have used equipment for the price range you are looking in. People trade in stuff all the time for the latest and greatest. I've picked up some pretty good stuff for not much money that was only a year or two old. DaLlama2i
Check ebay for the Vertical Groove driver. I picked up a 10.5 head for $50 and threw a shaft in it as an experiment. It's feels great and goes long and straight. The marketing around it was a little gimmicky, but it flat out performs. I think John Daly played one for a minute.
