Arnie C
I have about 20 putters in my collection but out of the 20, 12 of them are in my rotation. My favorite putter though is a Scotty Cameron Sonoma Classic that I had refinished. I also put a Evnroll Gravity Grip that provides awesome feel and touch. I have had my issues on the greens over the years and what I found out is confidence is everything. I went through a stretch where I could not make anything for a few months, had five or six people look at my stroke including two guys that played on Tour........and nothing. They told me not to change a thing and my stroke was fine. What I had to change was my mindset and get out of the thought that I couldn't putt and into the thought that it was a strength. Had a good friend of mine build my Frankenstein and it has worked for two years now. I have been reading a lot of his stuff recently; just trying to get a little better at all the aspects of golf. I have started to agree that he isn't wrong. He is pretty straightforward that putting isn't hard; basically aim the putter correctly and then stoke it square to the line. He does dive deep into the science behind his approach which is way too complicated for me. Shockingly, it usually reinforces that the properly fit putter performs better and I need to work on setup and fundamentals if I am having trouble aiming and making short putts with the Edel. Their weighting always seems to produce the best distance control and least 3 putts. I used to keep 2 backups, but 1 was more sentimental as I had sub-30 putts with it. Eventually gave up the dream and sold it off (was a cheap TM). I got custom fit for my Edel at the factory. Even met David and chatted for a while. Super smart guy. RangerGrey
I currently have 2 with another on its way. I have an ODYSSEY LAUNCH LIMITED EDITION EXO 2-BALL PUTTER 35" beautiful looking putter, more of a collectors item than my gamer, then I have a Enroll EV2 34" with a BGT Fire Stability shaft which has been my gamer, very surprised that this putter has out performed so many other putters that I have owned over the years as I won't go into how different ones I have ever owned that would be impossible to name them all. My next putter that should be here by April will be what I hope will be my last and that is the LAB DF3 Green 34" w/ BGT Stability Tour One shaft. I have always putted very well with center shafted putters as it has been awhile since I last owned one so I thought why not go with something that can only help as Putting is 46% of the game. Rob Person
I made a big mistake today. I was browsing in a golf store today and randomly saw a lonely putter just being absolutely shamed to no end. They put it in a back corner behind a staff bag full of new putters. I meandered over and moved the bag and pulled it out from hiding. It had a jumbo max grip, a red shaft, and it was a lefty. I plucked a few balls from the practice cup and began rolling it. This putter was just buttery smooth. Sank 8/10 putts from 16 feet and in. The other 2 misses were by inches. I got brave and finally flipped it over. It had a nice orange clearance sticker stating it was 99$. Ladies and gentlemen, I am NOT the proud owner of this gem. Its an Odyssey stroke lab mallet putter. I asked the counter guy how long it had been there, and he said he didn't even realize it was sitting back there... I asked him to call me in a week if it's still there, and I may go back for it. Been looking for another left handed putter for awhile now. Donn lost in San Diego
One. I gave away a nice David Musty wooden mallet when I learned what face balanced meant, and traded in a face bal Scotty with wings (Futura X), when I found a dandy slightly used bargain, an Odyssey "R Ball" with the graphite 2 piece Stroke Lab shaft.
