RetiredBoomer
I love the concept of those Ghost bags. They appear to set up like a cart bag but also work like a stand bag on the practice tee. The quality seems good too, but they cost even more than my Titleist Cart 15, which frankly, when I ordered it, seemed a lot to spend on a golf bag that wasn't a custom Belding or something. Still, the cart bag with a stand concept is something one might think would have been thought of years ago. arodrig29, Preeway, Rob Person and 3 others

arodrig29
While on vacation in PCB, I was able to get out for 18 holes on a local public course called Rocky Bayou golf club. A couple of things stood out about the bag. First, multiple people loved the look and color. To be approached at a golf range about your golf bag, what a weird situation, lol. Secondly, the side cooler pockets, they just don’t work very well. I don’t want to get into too many details as it’s part of my final wrap up, but let me say it like this, sticky fingers were present, thank God for golf towels… Lol. Shlax
I was FINALLY able to go out and play a round after almost a full month away from the course. My last outing was a train wreck so I was a bit worried about my upcoming performance but it went really well and the Ronin bag once again caught the attention of a few avid gear aficionados! After spending all my free time last week and this week-end painting the house and, most importantly, sanding my old colonial baluster by hand (80%+), I was absolutely spent. Nevertheless, I squeezed a 4:30 PM round today and managed to carry my clubs: It was a breeze with the very comfy shoulder straps. Once again, I haven’t experienced any negative aspect with this bag. I’ll wrap things up more eloquently in my final review, but once again, this bag meets all my expectations, even considering the premium price point. arodrig29
I was able to get out today and the Ghost bag continues to shine. My playing partner (someone I was paired up with) actually looked at them online while on the course. Shlax
Played another Sunday evening round because of uncertain weather today. If you watched F1’s Canadian Grand Prix, you saw that rain came in and out all day. Finally went playing at 16:30 but did not have any rain gear and got soaked after about 4 holes… Good news: The Ronin bag is water resistant! (I’m not saying waterproof as anymore rain would have likely pushed through but overall, it kept my gear dry under moderate rain). I did’t get to try the rain hood as I left it in my car… Not the wisest move. Here’s a picture after the first few raindrops. The heavily padded shoulder straps really soaked in that rain and every time I got the bag back on my shoulders, it squeezed A LOT of water out. I guess that it’s the price to pay for these very comfortable straps. Rain subsided after hole 6 or 7 and all went well after thar. The bag and the straps dried surprisingly quickly and it remained relatively lightweight all along! Stay tuned, the final review will be up shortly.
