You have an issue with indie farts??
I got a good chuckle after my Initial double take of what the email even was.
the. My mind started trying to figure out what sort of code it was. But after talking about things like “dev” “test” or “prod” I couldn’t make farts for any sort of IT acronym or shorthand for an environment.
maybe it’s indie for independent open source code... and farts represents a test environment because that’s usually what happens before sh*t gets real. -
Hope we didn’t work me out of a job
Last I knew there was a stack of boxes full of goodies we are eagerly waiting you to open and share your thoughts on.
Plus there’s already 1400+ signups... I don’t think it got easier.
But you no longer need to weed through useless gifs! I also kind of like it because we can have a conversation about the equipment up for testing without all the application posts mixed in.
I’m sure there will be a few bugs, but I like the idea of separating the two out!- MattF, Tarheelvolvo, tony@CIC and 1 other

Must be that silly elevation. Nothing sticking in my yard up here in NH feel like I lucked out big time.
We had a good dusting and the cars were covered. Thankfully by 3 it had mostly melted away.
it was enough to screw up a bunch of Saturday golf plans tho. I got 5 or 6 “course closed” emails.

The quarters have to be paid on the next tee.
All of us are old and cheap!!
Since the rounds of golf are comped, it cost me 2 quarters to play 18 holes with a cart. Not bad!! Sometimes I get paid quarters to play golf there.Do the quarters Need to be paid on the next tee because of the old part?

The 790s are a hot commodity and I highly doubt tm dumps them for something else. The 770s are a different beast and another hot commodity.
They certainly are! My friend at golfers warehouse said custom orders are out to September or something like that.
I would be surprised too, but wasn’t sure if this could be a leading indicator that something else was coming.
with how little they changed from version 1 to version 2 I’d be surprised to see something more than a revision on them.

They certainly look cool. Not sure I could game them though. I was always a fan of them in chrome tho. I guess I like my irons light and my wedges dark!
The real questions is this though:
Since were seeing a special edition, is this the official last hoorah for the P790s? I know the 770s aren’t a direct replacement, but maybe next year we do see a direct replacement.
Thinking along the lines of Titleist with the slate blue finish is the second year of production on the SM8s.- GolfSpy_SHARK and Rickp

Some kind of sick joke out there today...
EDIT: I feel bad for @Lacassem who is supposed to be playing at Wachusett CC tomorrow... the next town over is reporting 4 inches of snow right now. That new Radspeed driver is going to have some issues with roll unless they get all rain the rest of the day to melt the accumulated snow.
On the plus side, it is supposed to get warmer through the day and evening into tomorrow... so maybe there's a chance?

Played the Wolf game today at the other course in town. I don't play there much, but I get to play for free with this group of guys. Well, free if I don't lose a bunch of quarters!! Last week they played at my course and I shot 74 and took their quarters! They wanted revenge, so we played at their course today.
A sunny 75º day with about 10-15 mph wind from the opposite direction from normal. I drove the ball well; chipping and putting were OK except for one hole; in front of the green in two shots on the par 4 #16 and ended up with a double; my only one of the day. I did have two birdies; almost got to the par 5 #3 in two shots... chip and a putt. The other was on the par 4 #15; pin high on a green that slopes severely back to front; 12 footer left to right breaking about 3 feet.
Shot 80... 40/40. A nice round for men on that course, but lost 2 quarters.
TWO quarters?! Too rich for my blood.
sounds like a nice round considering the wind!

Range session today... long irons, trying to work the 3 iron back in, and get rid of the hybrid. Had a few beautiful shots, traveled about 235 in the air and went halfway to the moon. Might need to add a 2 iron again, and look at an even lower launching shaft than C-Tapers... does that exist?
Had a few really nice drives, and some clean 3 woods off a tee. I am noticing that if I feel like I take a John Daly swing everything just seems to time out better. I feel like I’m overswinging, but it works nicely.
Sounds like a PX LS 6.5 in your 2 iron should do the trick...
Which is about the exact opposite of a club that would ever need to be in my bag. #wormburnerz -

If you have friends, REAL friends that is... there is no better answer than:
The humble Minivan. Sadly that GIF is not me, in spirit maybe.
My humble Honda Odyssey faithfully carries 3 friends + Myself to NH and Maine every year for 2 golf trips. It holds all the clubs, luggage, food, adult beverages, and other necessities one could need for a weekend of golf.
Plus it does this in comfort and with absolutely no style at all. So no one expects you to be good at golf either.

Got in protocol 2 in the advanced protocols in today. This video helped a lot as my takeaway (thanks @B.Boston for saying it) is to inside. I noticed it a few into the protocol and corrected.
this one as they said in the protocol video is a workout. Hell of a stretch and this ones going into the routine moving forward.
Yeah I think my sides are still a little sore... haha
I really like that one. I can see that take back to parallel - check - raise the umbrella being my go to feel move in my pre shot routine now. It's a good feeling one for me.

I didn’t have as much luck sending mine in. The red oled readout began to fail on my GX3i2 so I sent it in to them to be looked at.
They replied a few weeks later that it was not covered by the warranty (I knew that, but based on feedback like this thread I tried anyway) and they did offer me a discount on a new unit.
Around that time I was selected to do a review on the PrecisionPro NX9-HD and it has been every bit as good for me.

Can anyone describe the feeling they get going from the top of the backswing to shallow to ball without PM attached. My head keeps telling me LOOP.
Loop makes me want to use my arms too much.
I try to think “relax” as they use in the drills. If I’m rehearsing the move I might try to feel a twist. But I honestly try to avoid swing thought during actual swing and focus on the shot I want to hit.

Here's my backyard looking out from my patio. I have a retaining wall that extends my entire backyard property line.
I'm considering having a putting/chipping green put in on the upper level from those center steps by the small evergreen trees to the right. From the steps to the left is my garden area with a few patches of grass.
Here's the right side of the upper level where I want the putting/chipping green.
The steps here on the right is the only viable way to get a mower to the upper level = pain-in-the-arse!! I think all the grassy areas should be artificial or rock. The greenhouse is going; I don't use it. From the small dogwood tree to the evergreen shrubs I have about 45 feet to work with and it's about 14 feet wide. I wish the power pole and cable weren't in the way but it's near the edge of the property, and I can work around it.
It looks like that would be an awesome spot! Nice backyard.. I love the landscaping work there.

@B.Boston does the Arccos app consume a lot of battery? The Grint itself doesn't really consume much battery for me if you don't keep it on the whole round. Just start the app and then turn it on only to enter scores or look at GPS for hazards and stuff. I just claimed my free set of Arccos sensors from TM for being a Birdie rewards customer lol. They wanted 129 more for the wearable but I am just going to try for a few rounds and compare to my Shotscope. Will probably give them away to a friend or family member after I have tried them.
This is such a great idea. Now every round I play is going to be like I am in a season long tour event or something! Exciting!
My old iPhone 8 would not be able to do two rounds. I got an iPhone 11 Pro and the battery life is significantly better, so as long as having both open doesn’t cause the processor to go crazy I don’t expect much difference.

It probably helps knowing that was a total missile
I wish I could say they all were!!! A focus for this year is on getting more consistent strikes with my driver. I know that will mean not feeling like I’m swinging as hard (even though I prove to myself time and time again the swing is just as fast) and probably setting up to play that little cut. -
Ohhh this is going to be fun! Great contest idea!
@GolfSpy_THV are 9 hole rounds going to be accepted? That's my usual weekday round, just curious if they'll count.
Hopefully my battery can handle Arccos and the Grint running at the same time.

My style is very much to do my thinking as I'm approaching (look at where the flag and trouble is) and figure out what shot I need to make if it's a bad lie. After that I'll take my club, maybe make a rehearsal move or two behind the ball, visualize the shot, then go. I don't like to stand over the ball much at all and try to keep it fluid. It works for me, but doesn't for everyone. I'll take one or two looks down my target line and fire away.
This is a typical tee shot routine for me:

I always play my best with external focus. That shot pattern is impressive! Even though it wasn’t where you wanted it, it was super consistent.
it’s been cool to see your progress over the winter, I think you got some low rounds coming your way from all the work you’ve put in!
