Golf Pants for Tall Women?

Hi folks - new to the forum, but have been reading MGS site for a while now.  Love it!

 

My wife is tall, which is cool, until she has to buy pants.  Lots of options for golf pants for me, but few for her.  Women's clothing is a whole different deal, lots of strange sizes, voodoo, etc.

 

Has anybody had good luck with a particular brand or maker of women's golf pants for the tall ladies?

You can try uncut pants and get them hemmed yourself. I just ordered two pairs from Sub70. Costs about $10 at the local tailor to get them hemmed, but when you do they'll fit better than anything you can buy.

Sure, good thought - problem is finding pants that are made long enough to hem in the first place (that aren't made for men).  Was hoping to find a good source for longer pants designed for women, not small men with long legs.

Wish I could help you, but you seem to have found the single hardest person to shop for in golf.

Her name escapes me at the moment but i believe one of the MSG staff members is a proffesional playing on the LPGA. You could try sending her a message and she may know of some brands that cater for women like your wife, or who can supply long enough unhemmed pants.

 

Best of luck, I'm currently trying to change my girlfriends out look on the game. Managed to get her a set of clubs and shes venturing to the range with me, but want to graduate her to playing a round every now and again lol.
