Golfspy_CG2
The Harvard v Penn gsme was great. Looked like Harvard was going to run them out of the Palestra for a while. Then Penn woke up amf it was an entirely different game. Still came down to Harvard having a couple 3 point attempts at the end to tie it and couldn't get it done. Kor.A.Door
So it looks like I was right about Michigan being sluggish after sitting around for 12 days. They better pick it up quick or Saturday could be it. How about that Buffalo team. Destroyed Arizona. It was a good first day of b-ball, a couple upsets but mostly going like it should. looking forward to this afternoon. This should be one of the better years for the tourney, lots of teams could win, I'd say at least 10 teams have a legitimate chance to win. You don't want to sleep on some of these teams though or your chances will be 0 just ask Arizona. Offensively they struggled to find It, they played solid Defense which is good, they will find it on offense, I think the long layoff between games hurt them a lot. Arizona got lit up, and if Kentucky isn't careful. Those boys at buffalo can shoot the rock. Could be very interesting if they continue to shoot well. Those guards are a nightmare to keep up with, but blowouts do happen in times like this. I hope not, it would be something to see a 16 make it to the sweet 16 or elite 8. Kor.A.Door
UVA has just quit. They had no answer for Lyles or Maura. You could see it in their face, and Bennett's face, they had no way to stop them, they shot lights out. All you could do was watch in disbelief at what we were seeing. They dismantled probably the one team that most people had going at least to the final 4 if not all the way. I just heard on ESPN that there were more brackets that had UVA winning than any other team. Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind

sixcat
Albany beat UMBC by 44 and Vermont beat them by 27. UVA already had the weirdest basketball loss of all time to NAIA member Chaminade in the 1982 while ranked #1. UVA had already beaten top 5 teams in Houston and Georgetown that season. Now, they have the two biggest upset losses in NCAA history. This one was stunning. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Rickp
