Who has the second best logo within the golf industry?  For me it's the Ping-man.

More than Bridgestone... what am I missing?  Also, I'm glad no one has asked what the #1 logo in golf is.  Duh 😀

The old Spalding Bird-on-Ball logo was always a big favorite of mine.

Spalding was a huge player from the early 1900s through the 1980s.

When Bobby Jones turned professional after he stopped competing, he was on the Spalding advisory staff.

For what it's worth, I was a Spalding player through much of my golf life.

Coming into this millennial, they were struggling and eventually sold their golf patents to Callaway.

They mostly make basketballs now including the NBAs official ball.

Before Rawlings took over several decades ago,  Spalding also made the major league baseballs.

I'm familiar with the Spalding name in sports; probably even had a club or two in my bag when I was a yute.  I just never noticed the bird on the golf ball logo.  Also did not know they sold out to Callaway - interesting.  I wonder what a NIB sleeve of Kros-Flites would be worth today?
