This is such a fun question to speculate @Golfspy_CG2. From what I've seen on social media, the rough is insanely thick and the fairways are mowed about as tight as possible without completely scalping the grass. I can't even imagine what the greens are like. As a 26 handicap, I can all but guarantee I would be shooting 150, if not worse, just on those conditions let alone the length of the course. What say you, fellow MGS forum members?

Great to think about.  Would be awesome to actually find out.  I'd say if I broke 90, I would probably be ok with that.  Figure that is bogey golf.  The distance alone pushes that.  Then the rough and greens.  A few of the holes are normal, but that doesn't mean they are any less than the tougher holes.

So Michael Vrska of Callaway tweeted the other day the USGA Course Handicap Calculator the course rating is 76.9 and slope is 148 par 70.  My 19 handicap came out to a course handciap of 32 so my target score was 102.   That is a lot lower than I would have guessed, I think I'd be lucky to break 120.

Much higher than 86, assuming I'd be really lucky to keep it under 110.  When I lived in Ohio, had the pleasure of playing Firestone CC South, from the new, at the time, back tees.  With the pro there, we played one step from the very back edge, shot 85, extremely surprised and pleased with that.  But being the usual golfer, could go out on a course that measures 6300 and wide open, and shoot a smooth 85... lol!
