Sneezing with rib issues is terrible! My kids would laugh at me when I sneezed and laid on the ground for a couple minutes.

@JFish350 - Glad to hear that your recovery seems to be going well. Great that you're down weight, even with the limited mobility! Keep up the great work!

Personally, I have been keeping up with my program Tonal workouts, but the new program I've been on for a couple of weeks is 3 days a week. I think I prefer 4 or 5 days per week to be able to start the days with exercise more often. I've also been working on a golf training program and it's very interesting because it's almost entirely focused on hitting positions and flexibility. I haven't played a ton of golf lately, now that my LAB DF3 testing is slowing down, but we shall see how it translates to the course.

Weight has been fluctuating between 194.6 and 198, so not a lot of progress there.

I have never broken a bone in my body, I have strained my rib cage and yes it sucks when someone makes you laugh.

4 week follow up next Wednesday, so I hoping I'll be released for PT.

1. Nine holes carry!  Rib felt great!  Played great! (Except for putting)

2. LiiFT4 day4, week1: Legs, HIIT/core.  Walk treadmill, swing orange whip 50

Looks like it was a big workout day for you! Great news about the rib! I remember feeling so much relief when I finished my first 9 hole round with no rib soreness or pain!

I have been keeping up with my 3 day/week Tonal workouts. They have been a lot of fun and  I still have 3ish weeks left in the workout program.

As far as diet goes, I've been working on things. I'm still snacking on too many sweets and last night I went to a baseball game and sat in an all you can eat buffet section of the stadium and racked up a massive calorie number. My weight has managed to stay pretty steady around 196-197, so hopefully I can turn some diet things around and start to drop the weight a bit.

Day 3 of 6 in Canada fishing with my dad, brother, son and nephew. Had a couple of 2 mile portages today loaded down with about 60lbs of gear and finishing up with around 16k steps. Watch says I’ve burned 3500 calories as of now, and I think I only drank about 800 calories today - net win!

So I start out with an easy 2 miles at a perceived exertion of 3. Then after 2 miles, I kick it up to level 8 exertion for 1:00 then drop down to level 3/4 for 1:00. The coaches I'm working with say to do it 4 times but I've been doing it 6-7 times. Just trying to build up speed. Next week, the speed workouts switch to 3x2:00 pickups.

That's what I thought. 1 minute intervals, keep up the good work.

Today's Workout: Shoulders - https://app.kickserv.com/mgsiglass/jobs/67232

Weight - 182.6

First day back after a long week of fishing in Canada. I'm back on the 4 day split, jumping in where I left off in the middle of the cycle.

I did zero tracking last week, but tried to be mindful of how much I was eating and drinking. It seemed to work out.

Leg Day - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/16642158474

First true leg day in 3 months, and I absolutely melted my legs. Tomorrow is quite possibly going to be a no-pants day, because putting them on just might be unfeasible with how hard today felt. After my set of leg curls my entire hamstring complex and butt almost went into a cramp. Going to need to prep the wife for extra whiney-ness over the next two or three days.

Weight - 181.9

Yesterday's Calories In: 2,027

Yesterday's Calories Burned: 2,579

It was my brother in law's birthday yesterday and he wanted tacos, so I obliged. Smashed some chips and queso, and my recently new favorite drink - the Paloma. Somehow I managed to stop at two tacos and one Paloma.

Ran the Balboa 8 Miler today in memory of Pfc. Steven W. Freud. It was a bit humid out so I had completely sweated through my shirt before mile 2. The first 5k went well but I lost all my steam and finishing was a bit of a struggle. I was interviewed by a local news channel just before the race.

@FallenSaber congratulations on being chosen to review the new pxg line.  The new P irons look fantastic.  I was chosen to review the Rapsodo MLM2Pro…I’m patiently awaiting its arrival.  I plan on adding a little blurb about how many calories you can burn using a launch monitor.  I think the activity of golf and practicing golf gets overlooked when people are thinking about “working out.”
