LAB Putters? Yea or Nay

I have been really impressed with the Runner putter. There is a forum member review on them going on right now, but without question worth a look. Similar feel, just a different balance and something that through 3 full rounds has been really impressive.

The Runners look interesting. I’ll have to keep an eye out on the member reviews. happy to see the industry investing more into putters experimenting with putter design.

Has anyone done a remote fitting and then waited for a putter to show up at the outlet with this specs?  Do you think L.A.B. Would care if I tried that?  I love the fact that they have an outlet.

Agreed 100% - I think they care more to get you in the putter specs, regardless of its brand new or used in their outlet (or elsewhere)!

I purchased a Lab putter last June. I researched putters until I was absolutely sick. I drove 3 hours to Birmingham AL to the PGA Superstore so I could try a Lab out in person. I was opened minded when I went in and was willing to try anything to get my putting straightened out. I was bad about pushing the ball. After several tries with many different brands the Lab putter definitely got me rolling the ball much straighter. Granted I wasn’t a fan of the look of the Direct Force models, they seemed to roll the best. I tried the Mezz and Mezz max and liked the feel of the Mezz the best. After at least 20-30 mins of going back and forth I settled on the Mezz. I have noticed it has helped my putting a ton and shaved some strokes off. Granted it is not a magic wand but at least the ball goes to the area I aim it. Distance control took some time to adjust as the face seems super hot and the ball comes off quickly.

That's exactly what I did with my MEZZ.1. Waited for one to show up with the specs I wanted in the L.A.B. Outlet and saved over $200. I couldn't find anything wrong with the one I received, looked brand new.

Am really interested in the responses here. The theory and many reviews are great but its difficult to get my hands on one here in Aberdeen Scotland to see how it feels. Any one near me know of where i can get hands on for a test?
