And it all comes down to this...

One last week, to give it all you have and lift the cup. Who will it be?

Oh my, was that close last week. A big thank you and shout out to @Golf2Much for officially crunching the numbers and @GolfSpy_BEN for all his hard work and organization.

And then there were two. So for the MGS VCT finals we have @Javsand @CFreddie Versus @EMacK1961 and @daviddvm. Which team will prevail?

Which team has the bigger cojones to go really low. Who will win the battle of Texas? Will the Mexican sunshine prevail or cfreddie’s special Masters sauce keep cranking out the birdies in Georgia.
image.jpeg.c074ee7e04113bb7059b0f1f46685b26.jpeg

I have to go with one of my initial picks in  @Javs and @CFreddie.  Last week @EMacK1961 and @daviddvm didn’t just bring the heat and the habaneros, they brought their flame throwing ghost pepper concoction. Can they keep it going one more week or did they use up all their scramble shots.
image.jpeg.1a275b0fd42d3a099cd34eea48233176.jpeg

But you know @Javs can handle the heat and will bring it this week using the motto, see birdie, make birdie. Will the Javsfreddie team get their mojos on and make eMackdavid run for their Tijuana’s or will their good play continue another week. Good luck gentlemen and one simple rule to follow.

Hang in there @Javs!  Hopefully the combination of all three remedies will have a positive impact on your recovery!  My wife was battling COVID and had an IV treatment that did wonders for her.

Get better!

Thank you and I hope your wife is recovered. The IV did help a lot. The shot stopped the throwing up. Looking to bounce back.

As someone who recently got back active in golf and the forum, it looks like this "season" is coming to a close and don't want to miss out on the next if possible. Can someone link me to a place that has the layout/where I should look for that in the future? Much appreciated

Look at the top of this page under the MGS Virtual Tour link and there will be 3 links - Current Week - YTD Leaderboard - MGS VCT Tour Card

You can find out all you need to know and follow some of the threads.

@Curtis Atkinson, hang tight for a few weeks.  They should be staring season 3 shortly.  They are working on updates to the format, but nothing has been issued quite yet.  Here's a link to a couple of hints of what to look forward to:

Well beware of the sick or injured golfer! We played late today. Gave me enough time to hydrate. Still under the weather, but played very well. Hit the driver outstanding and putted insane. Did just enough with the irons and wedges. Hit 10 fairways, but was never really out of position. Hit 11 greens, but really 15 ngreens which made the putts stats look better. I only had 25 putts! Started out hot birdied three of the first four and one putted all four. Birdied number seven to get to minus 4, but didn’t get up and down  from the front fringe on eight for a stupid bogey. On nine hit two big shots, but was short sided with a front pin tucked behind the deep front bunker. Safety first and hit the pitch just a touch too long. A two putt par. Played the back 1 under. Two birdies and one bogie. A solid 68, it probably won't get any better this week. I’m not playing again till Saturday. Blue tees rating 69.1 and slope of 122. Course handicap from the Blues was a 1. Attested by Darren Jackson.

Great round!  You are correct about saying “beware of the injured or sick golfer”.  I have won more tournaments and competitive rounds when I was sick or had body parts that were hurting like hades.

DR - Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Max, Newton Motion 4-Dot shaft

4W - Titleist TSR2, Newton Motion 4-Dot FW shaft

HYB - Sub 70 949X 21*, original HZRDUS Black 85-S shaft

7W (if played) - Titleist TSR, ACCRA TZ6 7S

Irons - Cobra King Forged Tec X, KBS TGI graphite shafts

Wedges - Edison 2.0, 47* (bent to 48*), 53* and 57* (bent to 58*), KBS TGI 100 Tour S

Putter - Evnroll ER10 ""Outback” Mallet

Ball - Maxfli Tour-X CG (2023) or Vice Pro Plus

Bags - Vessel / Ghost stand bags

Cart - MotoCaddy M7 Remote (without the remote)

Spoiler

Lots of short game practice has made this a strength; now the driver is causing problems!

Yes Sir! I didn’t want to do anymore than needed. Played each hole and shot with all the concentration I could muster. Then sat in the cart and drank Gatorade Zero the entire round. I assume you were in the same boat when playing and masking an injury or sickness.
