Paint for Mack Daddy Forged Wedges (Satin Chrome)?

Hi 

I recently bought a Dremel and stupidly put the wrong attachment on to get rid of the rust on the face of my Mack Daddy Forged wedge...This rust came but so did the layer of paint on the face of the club leaving a shiny finish!! I love that wedge so can anyone recommend a good type of paint to use for these wedges?

Also what is the best way to use the Dremel to remove rust without damaging the club face?

It’s not paint, it is a chrome plating.  The only way to “fix” would be to strip the plating and replace, but you have also removed the micro grooves.   The finish on the face gets worn from use, best thing is to leave it alone.   If you want to remove rust, soak it in coke or search for other chemicals that can remove the rust.   
 

the best way to use a Drexel is to not use one.

There are a lot of club refurbishes these days that you can send that to for re-plating. That being said, it will rust and look nice over time if you're into that look. Some people swear that it adds spin.

True, but it certainly doesn't hurt. I wonder if the tests used new or old wedges to compare?

if you want to clean your club I highly recommend bar keeper's friend. 
I also made the dremel mistake and found that the BKF works wonders.

It hurts a bit.   New wedges that were exposed to condition that led to various degrees of rust.   They also did some tests with old wedges.   I was one of the testers.
