Gunn404
7 hours ago, GolfSpy_APH said: I am very interested to see who on the forum is fit into what. I went to a fitting on Tuesday. Currently I'm using a TSR3 9* Driver and TSR3 15* FW. I've never been to a factory fitting session before and if they're all like Titleist's then I recommend getting fit that way. I started out hitting my current gamer to get base numbers. My swing was on and off, but I never felt that this would be bad session. I started the GT line using the GT3 with my current shaft, a 65g Graphite Design VF TX tipped 0.5" standard length. It was lovely. All of the numbers, dispersion, and distance were better than the TSR3. The feel and sound were what suprised me the most. The tone was deeper than the TSR and less Metallic. More of a smack than a ting. The ball off of the clubface felt very good. If you play tennis you may know what I'm talking about there. It was similar to when you hit a perfect serve and the ball feels like it sits in a pocket for a split second. You know you smoked it. The REALLY nice thing about the GT Face is that it feels good even if you're not directly on the sweet spot. Maybe it's the feel along with the sound that made it so good but by that point I was pretty sure I was going to get one in the near future. Garret tried just a few shafts and settings seeing how they felt if the numbers were better and then bam it felt much better. He asked what I thought, I told him it felt great, and he then told me the last setting was switching the GT3 head to the GT2. The GT2 looks very similar to the 3, I didn't notice the switch at address. I ended up with these... 8* GT2 Driver A2 Hosel Setting +4 Rear Weight 75g Tensei Black Stiff 13* GT2 3 Wood A1 Hosel Setting +4 Rear Weight 85g Tensei Black Stiff Edited July 11 by Gunn404 William P, GolfSpy SAM, TJ Hall and 2 others 4

Golfspy_CG2
So had the first 18 hole round with the GT2 today. Here are some thoughts. Started great. Par 5 1st hole. Booming (for me) drive snd great 7 wood (also GT) left a 80 yard SW hit to 8 feet birdie lipped out—burned edges would be a theme for the day That led to a 41 front. One bad hole and one over-club on a par 3 led to a 44 on the back. Overall happy with the 85. 34 putts and one triple bogey from the middle of the fairway got in the way of scaring 80 GT2 gets a resounding for first round! NewRintrah
Went to get fitted for new driver and woods yesterday. Haven’t put a new wood in my bag for many years. It was time. Am brand agnostic and went open minded. We tested the ai smoke, the g430 max 10k, and the gt2. I did not imagine I would settle on Titleist, but the results were undeniable. Carry, distance, ball speed, smash factor, height, and landing angle. The GT2 9* with the Ventus Blue shaft has me super excited for delivery to put it in my bag. Golfspy_CG2
So having had the GT2 in play for 6 weeks now. It’s better then i hoped for. My Fairways hit % was 72% for the yesr when i got it. Its now 75%. Also Titleist was out for a fitting day this week. So during one of the breaks between fittings. I took the opportunity to hit several shots with my GT2 and Autoflex setup. Then i wanted to hit some of the premium shafts and see how they performed for me. I didn’t expect any to beat them and none did. But my comments below for anyone that may or may not find them helpful. AD UB 5 -This one came the closest to matching the AF results. My SS mainteined, ball speed only off 2 moh launch and spin close to Ad Di 5 - Did ok with this as i played the DI in my TSR 2. Not as solid feeling as the UB but numbers were similar. AD VF -5 Wow!! Is this baby stout. I keep hearing ho stable it is and I see why. None of the metrics close! At least I can say I tried it Ventus Red 5R This is one i could play. Again not the ball speed or distance of the AF. But very smooth and had good launch and not excessive spin with it. Then hit the GT3 with both my AF and the UB 5 Some pretty good results. It was slightly less spinning than the 2 but not enough to drastically affect any shots. This was good to know as i have a GT3 with the UB already on order! in the end. We ended up fitting 3 guys into GT2 all with the Featured shafts and 1 into w GT3 also with the Tensei 1K zstokes, MissionMan and cnosil 3 Quote G430 Max 10K TSiR1 15.0 Aldlia Ascent 60g TSR2 18.0 PX Aldila Ascent 6og TSi1 20 Aldila Ascent Shafts R T350 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM10 48F/54M and58K S159 48S/52S/56W/60B Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1 Play number
