My first tournament of the season is this weekend (ABCD Draft, Best 2 of 4 balls), and I was getting ready to do a WITB bag post, but I decided to make this a bit more interesting (and hopefully get a bit more participation going).

 

I've made a number of equipment changes this season (basically everything in my bag other than my 53° and 56° wedges is new - or reborn - this season), but as I looked over my bag and thought about taking pictures, one club really stood out.

 

I found that I haven't been using my 60 much at all (using the 56° from just about everything from 45 to 110 yards), so I swapped it for the 64°, which gives me the option of being completely stupid. I've tried a few over the last couple of years, but I keep coming back to this old guy:

FYI - The pink grip serves to remind me not to hit it like a ******. You can't go easy with a 64.

I've got that exact wedge in my bag. Lol. My oddball though would likely be (at least till I bagged its brother yesterday) my Eye2 W that's bent to 50* for my GW and it has a TiSandvick in it.... I'll put a pic up when I get home.

But I think my odd ball would be my 5 Wood it's a Trimax 3 metal combo ( I don't know either)

But if it works it works.

 

 

I use to think it was such a pain to load pics the someone helpful told me to resize them and now it takes less that half the time

Favorite Hybrid I've hit. VERY Rare. Wish they still had these!

don't have a pic with me but it HAS to be my Wilson dxi 16* hybrid with devotion 85x. thing is a freaking cannon, perfect flight. easiest club in the bag to hit.

Mine is easily the ancient brass Wilson Brothers putter (complete with duct tape on the hosel). The thing is old and simple...but it works.

 

I did put a fancy PURE Putter Grip on it though

Love that putter BK! Bet you have loads less putts than me and I've got as many putters as pairs of socks.

I used to LOVE the Mack daddy 64! The old second asst at my club was a short guy and I'd hit flop shots over his head for clinics or over carts and stuff. Real fun club! Don't think I ever actually needed it in a round though...

 

 

I don't really have any odd ball clubs in my bag. I did use a 445 gram putter for awhile though!

My old Trusty Rusty 61 (bent to a 64). I customized it and sand it often as it likes to rust. I let the face rust but like the body shiny. It has to be 20+ years old. Anyone know how old it is?

I put the Titleist 980F 17* 4 Wood in the bag today and I think it is there to say again. I kicked it out a year ago but nothing has ever worked as well.

That was a rough putting season! I played it everywhere from 32-38 and i think i eventually set on 34 and it was a dream inside ten feet. struggled with long ones though with distance control. Right now it has a dgx100 tour issue 3 iron shaft in it at 36" long. I played with it on and off for a whole season a couple years ago. Brought it out last year for an on course clinic- made everything on the practice green with it and was excited but then hit the cup three times on the first green from ten feet without it going in- horse shoe horse shoe horse shoe- used it for the other three holes of the clinic- then it somehow had the shaft fail - re shafted this spring and it will get another shot in the future,

My MannKrafted Custom putter is the oddest club in my bag. It's different and original. Gets mixed reviews, some love it, some hate it...

I don't really have an odd club anymore. It was a Mizuno T-Zoid 2 iron but I'm using a Titleist 910 instead.
