snoopy
No problem!! I'm playing the A4OS hybrids from a couple years ago and love them, but I haven't paid much attention to Adams golf clubs since that purchase. Max F
I like that set up. The only thing that surprises me is that he's got a second fairway (4 wood?) and nothing in between the 52* and 60* wedge. If one of us posted that bag some folks would say the 8* was too big of a gap in the wedge department. It will be interesting to see what happens when he's faced with a longer bunker shot. furu
Ernie Els is the guy who put two X Utility in the bag at Wentworth and asked for a full set because he loved them. And won The Open with XU in the bag. There's absolutely no surprise in his setup. There's no point in Adams signing a guy who plays blades in 3-PW. Ernie is perfect for them. snoopy
Those irons are pretty ugly looking, not sure how they are at address but they must perform due to Ernie bagging them. as long as they perform! haha.. i was reading up on these tour versions that ernie is bagging, they're suppose to have less offset and about 10% smaller than the normal XTD irons, but definitely a huge difference from the Razr X Muscleback irons he used over in Callaway. guess everybody needs a little bit of forgiveness! Max F
I had the chance to hit the retail version of this iron this past weekend. I was not a fan because of the lack of feel/feedback. I also thought the top line was too thick. On the plus side, they were easy to hit, the ball speed seemed pretty hot, and they had KBS C Taper Lite shafts. The shafts were the best part of the experience. Love the Adams FW and Hybrids. I too would like a set of MB2 in case I get good enough to hit them one day. Until then I could just look at them.
