Mr_Theoo
Now that we've had 2 full days of PGA show tweets and photos from Mygolfspy and our own Golfspy Barbajo, what have you seen that made you say I will spend my money on that? For me it was the Adams hybrid because I have yet to find a hybrid I don't hook so the moveable weights has be intrigued. The other thing I'd want is the mini aeroburner. From the few times I've hit it the big driver has been a huge surprise so id like to see how the mini performs. Very cool cause I love a colored ferrules I don't mind pulling a steel shaft to swap a ferrule, but the snap on ones would be so nice for graphite! jmwils81
The Aeroburner mini is going to be the next club I demo once its out. I am trying to stay away from looking or checking out stuff from the show because I know my impulses will take over and I will want to buy it. The new range finders are a big upgrade from my current one... see, dang well I guess I will look at a new one. **May the fade be with you** Driver - SLDR 9.5 Paderson KINETIXx IMRT Green Stiff / 255 cpmFairway Wood - 910F 3 woodHybrids - Big Bertha Diablo 21degIrons - 710 AP2 4-PW Standard Lie/FlexWedges - XFT 50, 54, 60Putter - California MontereyBall - FG Tour

Maverickping
The new Accra putter shafts have caught my attention. I have a Matrix shaft in a Byron GS DH89 that I like but I have a couple of other putters I'm thinking of putting the Accra in.

wbealsd
I haven't posted much since i landed in Orlando, almost overwhelmed by the show. So much to see and so little time (it seems). Throw in a round of golf and by the time I return to the hotel and grab a bite, I'm fading fast. Don't worry though, I'm grabbing lots of samples and brochures and will write about my experience and impressions of some new and little known products, as well as the Ben Hogans (really, REALLY on my wish list for this year). Got to run to the show now and a round at the Orange County CC this afternoon (where Demo Day was held). This is a great way to beat the "winter blues" - lol What's In the Bag Driver - GBB Hybrids Halo XL Halo 18* & T-Rail 20* Irons T-Rail 2.0 Wedges 60* TS / SCOR 48* 53* 58* Putter Ball Bag Datrek DG Lite
PlaidJacket
I took a look at the SkyTrak Golf personal launch monitor. Looks very interesting but it's $2 grand so... no. A guy over at a local retail shop showed me a new smaller "personal" version of Trackman a couple of months ago. It was also $2 grand. I'm going to own a launch monitor one day but I'll keep waiting till they are below $1000. It's coming. wbealsd
Had an early am flight out of Orlando and I'm back home now, tired but happy. I'll post more tomorrow but for now I'll just say I really, really, REALLY want to get the Srixon Z 545 irons in my bag this spring. I'm impressed with Ben Hogan, Wilson Staff and Taylormade irons but nothing felt as good to me as the Z 545's. The feel at impact and the trajectory was like no other iron I've hit. RoverRick
Hogans of course...I need to update my Eidolon wedges. But, I'm keeping an eye on SCORs through ebay. Dude, you missed it today. I bought Scor 48, 53, and 59 wedges, not a mark on them for $115 delivered. I had been considering the Hogan/Scors for quite some time. I really liked the concept of Scor but wanted 5-7 irons. This week, with all the Hogan talk, I broke out my 10 year old Hogan Apex CFT irons and gave then a go for a few holes. I found they go very nicely with my new swing. So this weekend I bagged the irons along with the hybrids that I have always loved. Just for good measure I even reshafted the C455 15 Hogan 3 wood. I loved them, all though I was sick Saturday and did not play well. I saw these Scors on eBay and bid on them this morning, thinking there was no way they would go for less than $200. I bid on them and forgot my phone in the truck and knew I had missed the end of the auction. I retrieved my phone at the turn and was pump up to learn I got these for much less than my final bid. So pass me some of the "Scor Koolaid" aka "Ben Hogan Koolaid", mine are on the way. wbealsd
Still catching up from the trip, but just wanted to post a few more thoughts before I leave to run some errands. 1. Wilson Staff - While at the show, we had the opportunity to not only hit their clubs on Demo Day, we were able to take them to the course to play!! Their equipment line is impressive throughout, very good quality offerings for all players. One thing in particular stuck out for me, since I haven't even considered carrying a 15* 3 wood in years. The D200 3 wood was actually as easy, if not easier to play, than the 17* Titleist 910F that's currently in my bag! I was simply amazed at the contact and flight I got using it on the range and carried it with me the rest of the week. 2. The High Heat Driver by Knuth Golf - I'd never heard of it and only stumbled across their hitting booth on demo day when checking out the grips at the next booth over. Since everybody's driver is the longest most accurate, I took their claims with a grain of salt but decided to give it a few swings while I was there. Without yard markers, it's impossible to say exactly how long the ball went, but the club was stupid easy to hit, trajectory was great with a tight dispersion and just "eyeballing it," the distance seemed to be easily as long (and probably longer) than my Titleist 913 D2. Considering I was still feeling the effects of my flight to Orlando, I was truly impressed. As it turns out, Dave Knuth is known as the "Pope of Scope" from his days with the USGA and the science behind this driver makes a lot of sense.
