My brush with history....kinda.

So I set up an appointment today with a uniform service to get a few of my guys who really need them, some work clothes. The salesman gets there. He introduces himself and the trainee with him, who is a very nice looking young lady.

We go through our meeting for a few minutes and he is into his pitch. My phone chimes with a text from Jdiddy. He makes a kinda funny statement which a chuckle at. I then apologize saying one of my golfing buddies was texting me. The salesman brings up golf and the subject changes. I didn't want to leave the young lady out, so I asked if she plays. She says no. Her Mom and Dad play and they learned from her great uncle who was a great teacher.

She sees my expression of interest. She smiles and says in a very melodic voice , " My great uncle was Harvey Penick". She then goes and says her grandmother has a whole bunch of his Red Books autographed at the house and would try to remember to bring one out next time they cometo the office.

Needless to say, I am trying to find a way to justify a contract with them to the boss.
