I was able to get the Win this weekend. I started off really well but just missed some birdie and eagle putts. Then the wind picked up and it got tough the winds were blowing 15-25mph. I held it together and finished with a 74 which was a 4 shot victory. No tournaments for about 5 weeks but I will be grinding to get better.

Sorry about the bad round, but glad to hear you're focusing on the positives. What was the cause for OB - shot selection, bad strike, or just plain old bad luck?
Best of luck Saturday!
2 really bad swings and one that I tried to hit a fade and it went dead straight through the dogleg

First big tournament of the year was a learning experience. I hit 3 balls OB by a total of 12ft. I made 2 doubles and 2 triples on my first 9 holes. I was +11 through and finished at +12. I am looking at the positives. I was able to keep my composure and pull myself together when I wanted to give up. I chipped and putted great. I only hit 4 greens and had 27 putts. I have another tournament Saturday and I will be ready to win.

Well I may hae just worm myself out. I spent 12 hours in a car and played 72 in 3.5 days. I played two tournaments and in both I started strong and the wheels fell of on the back 9. I shot 77 in both rounds and finished 2nd and 3rd.
Monday I have my SCGA Mid-Am qualifier so I am taking today off and then seeing my coach tomorrow. Going to put in some short game work this week and then play another practice round.

I had a very odd round for me yesterday. If you would have told me at the start I would shoot 75 in those conditions I would have been very happy with that. I had a very strange up and down round. It included and eagle, 4 birdies, triple and double bogies.

I am really looking forward to all the new Driver releases. The Ping and PXG are the top of my list. The Cobra F9 and Titleist TS3 are next. Once they are all released I plan on doing a driver fitting and pick the best one.
The Ping because I already love my G400 LST. The PXG because of the talk about how low spin it is. The TS3 because I picked up and 4mph ball speed but the stock shafts couldn’t bring the spin down. The F9 because I have been a big fan of Cobra for years

I hope not to make many changes this year but I am sure there will be a few. With all these new drivers coming out and incredible claims that club will likely change at some point. Everything else is pretty set. I may refresh the wedges and get new grooves. I have been trying the PXG mini Gunboat H and its been so good. It may finally beat out my beloved Buttonback Newport 2 that has been in the bag for 5 years. The thing I like most about the PXG is the alignment line, with it I have been able to start more putts online. The biggest issue is adjusting to the difference in feel off the face.
Ping G400 LST 8.5 set to 7.5 with Tensei Pro White 70TX
PXG 0341 3 wood 13.5* HZRDUS Yellow 76 6.5

Ben Hogan FT Worth Black 4-P KBS Tour V 120X
Ben Hogan Equalizers 50,55,60 KBS Tour V

First I want to thank all of you for the support through last year. I had some great success and some frustrating defeats. I made great strides in my swing and mental toughness and I still have a long way to go.
This thread will be where I post my schedule and prep for the upcoming season, you can also follow on instagram @KCLeonardGolf. I have a very busy schedule this year with more high level tournaments than I played last year. I will be playing the VGA again this year. I have the SCGA Mid-Am, US Mid-Am, All Navy Tryouts, All Armed Forces(if I make All Navy), I plan on playing in 2 city Am events as well.
First up is the SCGA Mid-Am qualifier on March 18th. I played my first practice round on the course yesterday and will be playing another in a few weeks.

I haven't, but I believe that's also the lightest one and would make my putter change swingweights? I don't care for that rectangle shape, feels like it causes me not to square the putter back up and I start putts out to the right.
Yes it is lighter it will change to swing weight a little depending on the weight of your current grip. You could also go with the Core Aware which is closer to 100 grams I believe.

romeopapazulu has a slightly used React Tour en route!
Thanks for a smooth transaction -- I'll always vouch for you in the buy/sell/trade forum.
P2 grips are great, but are slightly too, dare I say, girthy for my taste. If you're familiar with the Evnroll grip (I think they're made by Winn and are based off of the 1.18x?) they're a little thicker than those.
Have you tried the Aware Tour? It’s the smallest of all the P2 grips.

Love seeing this. As a Hogan Ambassador it’s awesome to see people talking about how good these clubs are. I really do love the Hogan brand. The FT Hi is phenomenal!!! The VKTR is great too but the FT Hi is better for me since I have a higher speed and tend to launch the ball higher.
