Love the course - where is it located. Also is Iron Pot on your list - 'that's the new course in South Arm, just down the road from my daughter's place in Sanford.
Bougle Run is up in the dunes at the end of Lost Farm, great piece of land for it. Stayed up north, looking at going back to Tassie early next year, might get to Iron Pot then

Unless you intended to tag @dlow206 I’m afraid I must beg to differ, because every aspect of my quiver is the bee’s knees.
In either case, I would be remiss squandering this occasion to bemoan the dearth of hexadecagonal mandrel patents being filed/licensed by graphite shaft manufacturers. Even if it potentially opened me up to a more precisely amended notice re: items on your facetious Top Ten list of non-starters. Something akin to, “DLK eschewed a happenstance to flex his lexicon”.
PS - I sincerely hope errrbody is doing well. Carry on…
Now that really is flexing your lexicon

Day 2 pm
Bougle Run Short Course
14 holes, 12 par 3, 2 par 4. Holes range from 95 yards to 340
Probably the most fun you can have on a golf trip. Well designed holes that make the most of some great terrain.
Played 6 man skins. Managed to win 8 skins of the 22 that went off
The close one above was mine, about 8 inches from the hole

Day 2.
Played Barnbougle Dunes in the morning, truly magnificent golf course. The flow of the holes is great, conditions was excellent. Green complexes stunning. Rough start, 11 over on the front 9. Reversed day 1 performance and came home in 1 over, including a double

Today is the start of an epic golf trip. Fancy charter flight from Melbourne is the start of it. Landing on course at Barnbougle to play Lost Farm (world ranking 70) Stay on site then play Barnbougle Dunes (WR30) Stay on site again then fly to King Island . 5 minute transfer to Ocean Dunes (Aus Ranking 13) Drive up to Cape Wickham for the night before playing the next day (WR55)
I’ll try to keep updated on the go, but reception is a bit spotty and I may be having too much fun. Hopefully I don’t forget to take lots of photos like last time on King Island.

Here’s my old school bag that lives in my in-laws holiday apartment in Queensland. Only get to use it once or twice a year, but it’s easier than lugging my normal bag, and I really don’t wa t to part with most of these.
Driver- Nickent 4DX
Fairways - TM Burner 08 3 & 5 woods
Hybrid - TM Burner 22 degrees
Irons - Ben Hogan Apex Eddie Pro 5-E
Wedges - Scor 4161 49,53,57
Putter - Ram Zebra
The Wedges are the newest, irons the oldest. I don’t think I’ll ever move the the irons on. Owned them since 2003, and they still perform. The wedges will last as long as they can, grooves will eventually give way. I wish they were still available, turf interaction is unequalled. The driver can still get it out there, a design that was ahead of its time.

Had a lesson yesterday. Worked on alignment and setup mainly, minor grip adjustment and reducing grip pressure. Got a few tips on getting a full rotation in and was swinging really well.Probably something I should do more than every 2nd year

Tuesday round at Terrey Hills GC. More mediocrity, 13 over playing off 9, stroke rating of 1 over so effectively played 3 worse than handicap. Course was as wet as any I’ve played, but the greens were excellent. Rarely saw a ball bounce on the fairways so short again. No natural birdies and 3 handicap birdies
-
A bit late posting, but I was mediocre anyway
Saturday 22nd October The Vintage GC. 9 over playing off 8. 2 straight birdies, 3 handicap birdies. No drives of any length due to wet fairways and me being a bunter.
Sunday 23rd October Cypress Lakes GC. 7 over playing off 6. 2 straight birdies, 3 handicap birdies. Drives even shorter as fairways were even wetter.
Ridiculously consistent scoring, but done in very different ways. Felt I played much better at The Vintage.

Nice one! I was in southern Sydney, just on the city side of the Georges River.
Best bit is, this is only stage 1 of 3 weeks off with lots of golf. Stage 3 will be epic. Perhaps not quite as epic as your Mizuno junket though. More details to follow

Four rounds this week on a golf trip. If I don't go too hard on the beers (and wine) I'll post some scores. 2 days in the Hunter Valley (north of Sydney) and 2 rounds in @MattF's old stomping ground of Sydney. Playing The Vintage, Cypress Lakes, Elanora Country Club and Terrey Hills.

Been a bit wet. Lots of flooding, sadly lots of home affected. Had to drive through the rain on Thursday, main highway between Melbourne and Sydney closed due to flooding on Friday, luckily opened today so I could get home. Never seen water like I did today on an area I’ve been through hundreds of times.
My area didn’t get hit as badly, but this is a course I’m supposed to be playing in a scramble in on November 5. Not sure we’ll get a game in

10 over 81. Started with a birdie, then missed a 6 foot birdie putt on the second. Ball striking was really good early, hit the first 7 greens in regulation. 2 over after 9. Was going ok until the 15th. Then 2 triples in succession followed by a bogey put an end to my hopes of a good score.
Highlights were a couple of good birdies, and perhaps the most spectacular shoes I’ve seen on the course courtesy of one of my playing partners who I’ve never played with before.

My general rule is pants should have multiple colours, shirts 1. I occasionally break this rule when I’m playing crap. Can’t wear the stupid pants if my game is nowhere. White pants or shorts is a no go for me. Pants only in winter when it’s more likely to be muddy, shorts in summer with my pale legs might make me look nude from the waist down

Interesting take on things in Golf Australia.
https://www.golfaustralia.com.au/feature/opinion-hard-to-pity-pga-tour-in-liv-golf-stoush-585164
The wrap around tour has had a massive impact on the Australian tour. I'm absolutely no fan of LIV and the Saudi government, but the PGA does very little for golf anywhere else in the world.

11 over 84 playing off 9 in really tough conditions. Wet soft fairways and wind was 20mph gusting up to 30. Pins were tough in high spots due to conditions. Holed a few long breaking putts, unfortunately had a couple of poor 3 putts on 16 and 17. Very happy to finish with a top 10 score off the stick.
-
14th hole, wet and windy. Ugly Neely cut off the tee. Weird almost topspin 8 iron that barely got 10 feet in the air. Ran about 60 yards despite the extremely soft conditions. Finished 35 feet past the pin. Rolled the putt in for a birdie. Broke my playing partners hearts

I was wondering if a template could be setup for unofficial reviews to use. I’m not proposing anything too rigid, but it might make it easier for people to do their own reviews, and consistency in format would make them easier to read. Of course people should still be free to do what they like, but a template might streamline things

@GolfSpy_APH Sorry that you think I'm bringing down morale. I think the management of the forum by HQ and some of the former staff has done a lot more damage to morale than commenting on the bizarre dichotomy between what HQ does and what we're being told.
Probably time I take a break.

Day 3 King Island
Ocean Dunes
Second trip here, still stunning. Tougher day with the wind getting up. Shot about 16 over playing off 8, not too bad in the conditions
10th hole. Was playing 190 yards to the pin. 6 iron 30 feet past the pin. Straight down wind, normal 6 iron is about 160
Great course that gets overshadowed by it’s neighbour up the road. A must play if you go to King Island
