This is fantastic! I really like these unique kind of tests!
-
I love these kinds of tests! I'm curious what kind of drills the post-round will suggest.
-
Another awesome opportunity!

Not sure how I feel about testing a non-fitted driver. How do they determine what loft and shaft to send you? Just curious. Maybe this has been discussed elsewhere.
You can still do a fitting, you are just reducing one variable by having the head fixed and finding the best shaft/loft combo.

Wow, another great opportunity!
On the fence on whether to sign up as I'm still very happy with my Epic Speed but I am curious is the Paradym enough of an improvement to displace the 2 year old model?

It would be interesting on how much an increase in speed someone like me would gain given my age and decrease in mobility.
I was part of the group that tested SuperSpeed in 2020. I was 52 at the time and started at 102 mph and peaked at 120. It also did wonders for my back - it's normally pretty tight and sore by the end of a round, but not after doing these protocols for a while.
Anyone on the fence should throw their hat in the ring.
I'm very curious to see what the gains will look like now that the protocols have changed since I did the testing.

I wonder how the 301CB forgiveness will fare, even though they have perimeter weighting, they don't seem to be very forgiving.
Same here! They don't look terribly forgiving from the pics.
Another great opportunity!

Checking in Fellow Testers on how your off-season is going?
As is typical for NE Ohio - we have been shut down by weather since November
On 2/24/2022 at 8:27 AM, DannyDips said:Adjustable Loft – When you adjust loft, you change the face angle. Adding loft ↑ closes the face while decreasing loft ↓ opens the face. By understanding the relationship between loft and face angle and the influence face angle has on where your ball starts, you can leverage the loft adjustability to improve accuracy.
I knew that and it causes me a little concern. I really don't need anything that might add to my tendency to hit the ball right, but I need the loft as low as I can get it (at least for the way I currently deliver the club). I may mess around a bit with changing the loft and see if there is a noticeable difference given my erratic swing.

Congrats, guys! I love putter testing because, in my opinion, it allows the testers a little more creativity in what/how they do the test.

It just occurred to me I didn't update this thread after the MGS event at @tony@CIC's place. That day was probably my best driving day ever....
Irons were a mess, but fortunately this thread has nothing to do with them....
Best drive was on the second hole:
This thing continues to be an anti-left machine for me...sort of. My left percentage is up a bit, but they are not big misses. Mostly me aiming left to play a fade and the ball not fading, so it's not terribly often that I'm in too much trouble that way. I am still prone to the odd high flare, but I know that's a "me" issue, so I can't hold that against the driver.
There is still a little nagging feeling that I should have tried the Rogue White shaft, but we are ho's like that.

Yesterday I played some pretty average golf, but driving was pretty stout. Here are a few screen caps....
The left misses were barely misses so this driver continues to be an anti-left machine for me. There were 2 high flares, so I am starting to figure that part out, too. Too bad the rest of my game was garbage.
The 320 was downhill, but it looks great on paper.

Final review is up....
Go to "Reviews" tab, find my entry and scroll about halfway down until you see the line, large 8/22/21, and large, bold red title.
Feedback, comments, and questions are welcome!

I rented a bay at my local Golf Galaxy this evening to get some firmer numbers. Epic Speed (with both the MMT 70 X-stiff and MMT 70 Stiff) and the M5. The results were a little surprising considering what my Arccos data shows. But you'll have to wait until I post my final review some time this weekend.
Stay tuned....

Nice reviews, everyone!
@Lakeeriegolfer did the difference in shape have any effect on you? I used to have an rbz hybrid and loved that it was almost a traditional wood shape, so it took me a minute to get used the hybrid look.

So this happened tonight....
Ok, so I got a favorable bounce off the cart path, but it was straight, mostly just a little push.
Overall, a decent driving night. One high flare, one toe hook where I'm pretty sure I flattened my swing too much. Everything else off the tee was mostly in control and I ended up +5 on the back 9, which normally hates me.
