My Paderson Test Shaft has Arrived!

Just about anything will cut graphite, it's very soft.   I use the metal cutting head on my dremel or angle grinder.   Cuts like butter.

I am taking mine to have it cut and glued, but out of curiosity what kind of saw do you use to cut a graphite shaft?

Lot's of options, but I use a hack saw or metal cutting wheel with a dremel.  Either way I wrap the shaft in masking tape and then cut through the tape and shaft.

Okay I have a mini crises, I hope it's mini. I received the adapter that I ordered, it said for Rocket balls stage 2 and SLDR so I took it and the shaft to my club repair guy. He dutifully cut the shaft to the proper length and glued the adapter on. I'm home and it does not fit my SLDR. Please tell me this isassimple as ordering a new sleeve and having the current one replaced.

I'm not a happy camper at this point because I had time to test Monday and won't have it again until the following Saturday, maybe. I'm also afraid I've done some more serious.

Edison Wedges 54 and 59 KBS Tour Graphite 80's

EVNRoll ER 5

Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them

Tour Exotics 3 wood is in the bag because we are allowed 14 clubs.  It's a great club for pulling balls out of the water or from bushes - you never want to put your hand into anything in Florida unless you are absolutely certain that it's safe.  There are rare wind conditions when I might hit it off the tee on a few holes that I play.

It should be as simple as ordering a new correct one. Can you post a pic of it? Cause if it's for a stage 2 it should fit the sldr

What Sean said.....Stage 2 / R1 / SLDR are all compatible.  Also what do you mean by doesn't fit?  Fit in the hosel or the screw won't turn down?

I'm so stupid!!!!!!

I went to take the picture that Mr. Theo requested and realized that the screw was still in the sleeve. So without the screw it fits perfectly and we are good to go here. I have some unboxing pics, will get a pic of the shaft in the club, do a little write up and get it out to Bones.

hahaha - at least you can admit it was your mistake Rev... much better than to order another exact same one and have the same thing happen again - there's always a silver lining - sometimes it's just hard to see!

I learned a long time ago that he who is not afraid to appear stupid learns the most. Actually as soon as Mr Theo said it should fit I began to wonder what might be wrong, it caused me to take a second look.

It looks I'm finally ready to get started on some swinging this weekend.

Found my wife passed out in the bathroom yesterday morning and it's been a scary couple of days! (She's MUCH better now, apparently it was food poisoning and dehydration...).

I did take some test swings with the shaft at 46" and that's just not a good length for me, so I got my current driver shafts measured and got it cut to 45" to match the EXS in my driver.

Thanks Rev, she's definitely the "better half" and I'd be lost without her!

We're finatlly getting back to "normal" now, but it was quite a fright.

I'm with you on that need for distraction, hope your wife is resting comfortably and has a speedy recovery!
