Camcmart
So my fiancé and I are going to be tying the knot in a little over a year now (September 2018) and I've been trying to look into all-inclusive resorts that would be good for our honeymoon. As of now, we're trying to keep it under $5k altogether, and she has ruled out Mexico so far. So my question to everyone is where are some good beach vacation destinations? I've been looking into Punta Cana, Aruba, and the Caribbean area, but of course she really likes the idea of going to Bora Bora in French Polynesia. I'm all hears so let's hear it! GolfSpy_APH
My wife and I went to St. Lucia for ours. Went to a sandals resort (think it was sandals la toc) which has a golf course and a spa (perfect spot). There were lots of extra things to do such as sight seeing trips and activities which were amazing as well. Definitely highly recommended we loved the trip and have a ton of great memories from it. It cost us about 4 cdn but we didn't pay for flights. If you have any questions fire away! Jmikecpa
We did Aruba for our Honeymoon and I took the family to Punta Cana about a year ago. Both were very nice and affordable, but if I had to choose I would do Aruba over Punta Cana hands down. WITB 2024 Driver: Qi10 LS 9* Ltd. Golfspy_CG2
I've never been to any of these destination type resorts. So I can't advice on them. MDGolfHacker
Check out the sandals website. They are one of the premier vacation companies that offer all inclusive resorts throughout the carribean. I go to Aruba every few years as it is one of my most favorite places to vacation (chill relax on the beach and they do have a golf course on (tierra del sol http://www.tierradelsol.com/en/)). Native islanders are pretty friendly and a great low key place where you wind down and relax. It used to be a Dutch colony so there is a Dutch influence on the island which is pretty cool. Weather is fantastic in Aruba with a Tradewind almost always blowing. Temps are high 80s to mid 90s but with the constant trade winds you won't feel the heat so it is very easy to burn (quickest way to ruin you honeymoon!) A few of our friends have honeymooned in St. Lucia and have loved it and recommend it. Weather can be hit or miss though. Both of the islands above can be done for 5k. Another island to consider is st. Martin/Sint Martin. One side of the island is dutch and the other is ruled by the French. You get a taste of Europe with a Caribbean feel. Peaksy68
I went to Kauai and the Big Island on my honeymoon. I played on the Big Island while my new wife hung out at the pool. Returned last year for my 20th Anniversary, this time I got to play the same course with my then 15 year old daughter, my wife and 13 year old daughter went to the beach. We loved Kauai, seriously beautiful and relaxed back then, and from what I hear it's still laid back. 849 Pro Evenflow Riptide 6.0 F8 3 & 5 Woods Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 TS2 7 Wood Project X Evenflow Blue 6.0 MP18 MMC - Project X LZ 5.5 Zipcore Wedges 50,54,58 - Project X LZ 5.5 MLA Tour Mallet 33" Z Star Pioneer bag buggy

GaLefty
The ABC islands, Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire, are below the hurricane belt if weather is a concern. Also much closer than French Polynesia.

The Big Island has some great courses. Before I moved to Hawaii, my mom would send me out to my relatives' place for winter break so I could play golf, and she wouldn't need to worry about finding a sitter.
