TBT
I played both the Grey and the Blue this past weekend.....my opinion these are a bargain at $20 a dozen. The grey is softer lower compression ball with good spin around the greens, the blue is a 4 piece ball and has tons of spin....I managed to back up a 110 yard wedge about 6 feet! I'll definitely be ordering more. I would not forgo playing a ball that performed ideally for me for ay aesthetic reason, but I also find putting lines distracting, and the thicker they are the more distracting. Nothing like having a chip shot with the line on the ball pointing just off your intended line. I also prefer to putt out if I am not on anyones line and never reposition the ball, but would have to if that thick line is pointing away from the hole. Driver: Qi10 10.5* ... BIG STU
Did that ball come alive with all the rubber bands unwinding? What are the rules on that, did you have to finish the round with the busted balata? No it would not come alive it looked sorta like a dying duck falling out of the air. you did not have to finish the round with that ball in fact you could replace it there and then with no penalty. I never have used a line on the side of the ball to align the putt with. I usually use the logo as in Titleist. Now since I have been playing the MG balls and Cally Super Soft balls that can be hard to line up like that since the MG logo is round and the Cally logo slants. So I orientate with the number.
