JCruz
I would expect a glove to last at least 10 or so rounds. It also depends on how I care for it. I normally keep a ziploc bag in my bag for gloves. I noticed if I store it in there after play or range, it keeps its flexibility and softness. I noticed when I don't do that, and just throw it in my bag or in the armrest of my truck that it gets hard and the grip becomes slippery. If you wear it for a little it will soften up but usually changes shape due to it drying stiff. Quote -JC golfs in AZ
Randall Robbins
I have a rotation of about 5 gloves and that will last I to next year. If I only use 1 glove, then I expect about 10 or so rounds out of it. Currently the gloves consist of a couple of Sub 70 gloves, and the rest are Red Rooster. richk9holes 1 Quote Driver : Sub70 839D 3 wood Sub 70 pro Hybrid Sub 70 849 18* Hybrid Sub 70 839 21* Irons Sub 70 639 combo Wedges Sub 70 659 approach 50*, 286 full face groove 54* Putter FGP Ball Titleist AVX Grips: Best Grips std leather
richk9holes
I added 2 synthetic Callaway X tech to the rotation for practice time. When I play a serious round I like a white leather glove, Mizuno Elite is the best I found in $10-12 range but I will try sub70 at some point as I'm always looking at their site. Used one of the X techs today, the fingers get wrinkled, but after a minute rubbing them and gripping the club the feel comes back pretty well. I've been using the same 2 for practice rounds, bad weather golf and the driving range for about 4 months and the first holes are starting to appear in the tips of the fingers in one. Using the Mizunos 1-2 times a week I get a fresh one about every 2 months, so agree with 10 rounds perhaps a couple more. Lvhawks3
I expect my gloves to last at least 10 rounds. I typically carry three gloves in my bag, the current one in use and two other new ones. Merlin1313 and EasyPutter
MuniGolfer
I usually until they get a hole or they get stiff. I also pop out a new one if I am playing a tournament, regardless of the condition of the current one, then rotate the two until one hits the criteria in the first sentence. They last me a few months. I generally use anything on sale that’s cabretta. Lately it’s mostly been the Kirkland glove. In between rounds I store the one I am using in a small outside pocket of my golf bag where my little pocket towel goes. I always keep one new glove in another poket where I keep some accessories. Once they get a hole the glove becomes my range glove. I throw away the last range glove and the latest one goes in a little open top pocket in my bag. Stevenhp
I rotate gloves during a round. I normally will use two. Here in the mid-Atlantic when it can get humid I will typically use 3 gloves a round. It’s been a long time since I’ve put a hole in a glove. I tend to compare them to the grips, I will replace them when they get slick and no longer help with gripping the club.
EMacK1961
I use MG gloves. I find their price/performance ratio is high for me. I've had good success with their lasting better than other, more expensive brands. The only issue I have is with their size consistency. I can get a set of 5 and 3 will fit perfectly but the other two are questionable. I play 3 days a week and a glove will usually last me a good couple of months- 20 rounds plus before I begin to have issues. Big moose
I will use a glove until it starts getting slick or gets a hole in it. I tried the mg and Kirkland gloves and they both last a long time but the Kirkland gloves hold their size for a longer time than the mg. I wear an xl glove and the Kirkland glove starts out fitting tighter from the beginning so I am probably going to get them from now on. I’ve almost always played a Ping Tour - full cabretta glove, but recently switched to Kirkland and am not looking back. Only noticeable difference, besides price, is kirkland starts out tighter, like you mentioned. i wear my glove till they get holes in them - normally the palm. Otherwise I leave them open and attached to the little velco holder on my bag. I think they keep longer that way than shoved in a pocket. Divescribe
I have nasty arthritis in my thumb and trigger finger so not looking for feel nor feedback. I have used many brands, buy them on sale and wore them until they either had a hole or wouldn’t soften up after I put them on. Recently I switched to Bionic. Pricey, but long lasting (3 rounds a week and will last about six months). Bionic is a thicker glove but helps my hands. Quote The Big Man
