We were lucky enough to get some extra weights sent with the clubs so along to test the system since many of us could not get a fitting before hand at a location with the weights to test. I ordered it will a 4 10 4 set up to get swing weight up going with SF i95s, but then also got sets of 2, 6, and 8 gram weights. I tested a bunch of combinations both lighter and heavier and it really worked. My final review has some of the numbers but it shows that the 2 - 10 - 6 or 2 - 10 - 4 set ups matched distance and dispersion well where as other set ups just did not work well. It was great to be able to test that out during this test. I was able to sneak in there and scoop one up to test. While I fit more into the SMS Pro it was to good of an opportunity not to pass up. We did receive an extra set of weights as @ejgaudette mentioned. I ordered 4-10-6 (H-C-T) and had an extra 4 & 8 set to play with. I did move them around in a few range sessions but ended up back where I started. I may still mess around with them again this off season now that I'm striking the ball more consistently again. I may still order another set of 8 so I can try out 4-8-8. One thing to keep in mind when ordering is that you need to tell them the weights you want, where you want them and what swing weight you are looking for. The weight configuration you request will affect what tip weights they put in during assembly and will ultimately control what swing weight adjustments you can make by moving them around or ordering extra weight sets. This is a great little bag to keep my tool and markers in and prevent them from getting lost. Definitely a quality touch from a true premium brand. I encourage everyone to spend some time manipulating weigh positions. You'll be surprised by the dramatic difference in feel, and in turn strike, repositioning the weight can make. I posted a chart in my review that documented it, but if you truly get it right and match the weight positioning to your swing (hence the term Swing Weight Matching), it can make an appreciable difference in your ball striking. I don't think there is anything formal out there but there are some general rules of thumb. You can shift the weight to compensate for your typical miss in order to help minimize the distance loss. Heavy weight on the toe for a toe miss, etc. Can also place the weights similar to what you do with driver, placing it out on the toe will promote a fade, on the heel will help the face close a little bit faster Owengeorge13 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This has a next level look for sure and the ferrule looks even better in person: It compares well to my gamer - the TaylorMade SLDR: First impressions: I know this is an unofficial review, but the club felt really good when making some initial swings in the backyard. I really like the shaft I picked for it - KBS Tour Lite. This club looks natural to my eye at address - not too small, not too large: First few swings was slight pushes (this is with hard foam balls, hoping to get some real time with real balls tomorrow (weather contingent)). Decided to tweak the weights a little - moved the 8 gram from middle to the toe and that looked to bring the shot around. Nothing concrete - need some good range / course time to really see. The neat thing is the SLDR 7i is idential in loft, and swing weight, with the lie .5* differnent to the Edel (both at 32*, D2, and 62.5 vs 62 lie) - this ought to be a great head to head test. I'm almost positive mine came unwrapped during testing and I assume that's because I had non-standard lie angles. Wouldn't want the plastic to cause any slippage when trying to bend them 2* flat.
