Okay thanks, at first I also found a rara grip, I find pleasant, even my putter grip has changed now more stable. It has become a variation of the the prayer grip. Most golfers do like my putting or are impressed with my putting. since I play with the max it does make me feel more relaxed.

Personally, I don't know how long your grip has been on it, but not getting used to the Max, the Max might not be for you.

Revisiting this thread with an update:

I have spent most of the summer using the Odyssey Versa Double Wide with a Garsen Max grip. Despite a brief dalliance, when I had my head turned by a Scotty Cameron Super Select GOLO 6.0. I continue to love the feel of this grip and position it keeps my hands in throughout the putting stroke. To illustrate this point, I played 36 holes this Monday. I used the Scotty for the first 18 and finished with 34 putts. Not terrible, but not great.

The second 18 holes I went back to the Odyssey with the Garsen grip and the results were 28 putts, including a 40 foot right to left bomb for birdie on 18 that allowed me to break 70 for the first time.

Coincidence? You be the judge.

I am now seriously considering the addition of a Max grip to the Scotty because, at heart, I don’t have enough chaos in my life and desperately need to add more.

@Ben Joest I know you have tried the Ultimate as well, did you land on the Max as being your favorite or equally well liked?

I liked them both, quite a bit. If pressed, I give the Max the slight edge. Kind of a 1a vs 1b scenario. You can’t go wrong with either. The quad tour is a good grip as well, just not my kettle of fish

I have now added one of these grips to a third putter. 

In my review I lamented the lack of solid color options, as the chevron pattern was a little busy for my taste. While I would still like to see solid colors, like available on the Ultimate, this Tour version of the MAX is nice. The overall consistency of the grip is there, but in the place of the semi-tacky patterned surface is a smooth yet tacky alternate. Initial trials on the mat have been positive, so this will be going in the bag and joining me on my next round. Love these Garsen grips.

Hello Ben

The Max Tour black looks good, is there a difference or big difference in feel and grip with the regular Max. On my irons I have the Lamkin sonar + grips also have a sticky feel already, I like it.

It is smoother and tackier than the standard max. Overall I like it so far
