Increase Profile Picture Max Size

I cant even take a picture of myself on my iphone and upload it. The max size being 0.24 MB is much too small

Have you tried resizing it before uploading it. I take all my pictures on my iPhone and upload them. Now as a mod my limits are different but I had zero problems before that as well.

I have an iPhone 14 pro and I had to install a third party image resizing app called "Image Size". The newer iphone models come with a camera that is too powerful to take shots in less than 1mb... this app is an easy fix to render the photos

im also having this problem,  I take lots of golf photos and use my proper camera too at times for content but I don't know how people managed to have 0.245 mb photos . My proper camera shoots out 85mb photos in raw and my phone is minimum like 4mb or so .

I screen shotted a photo hoping it would downsize but still can't get it to upload.

There are a few apps which make this silly easy!

I post all my pics from my iPhone 14. When you go to add a photo from your library, choose the options in blue font and then you can reduce the size of the photo before you try to add it. This will make it easier to post. I typically choose medium or large instead of full size.

Another option, if you have an iPhone, is to use a shortcut to reduce the size of the photo to the required 800 pixels wide.
