Fascinating. Mine does that and the iPad is static, portrait lock on or off it does the same thing. Might drop Sasho a note.

Is there a way to get a code without buying the swing trainer? I’d like to let my son use mine but be able to track his own stats.

I have a question to those who tested this and have used it previously.

Is it better to use an IPad rather than an IPhone when using this system?

I am ready to start the process after the holidays just want to make certain I have the best setup to start.

The iPad app is a scaled up version of the iPhone app and not a different standalone app.  You should see no difference in ease of use unless you prefer the larger physical screen of the iPad.

@GolfSpy BOS do our numbers from our new programs still get shared with you? I know we're not all doing the same programs or anything, but as I get further in my 2nd program, I'm seeing some very different numbers than what I experienced during Foundations.

I guess he could sign up with the app and start his own account and use your serial number from your trainer? I'm sure there is a FAQ on this.

If I remember right, you can add family members to a single serial number, a single account.  As you say, its probably in the FAQ somewhere.

Just looked that up and you are correct. I was under the assumption that you could only use one serial number per account. Thanks for the tip @twyatt700 and @DaveP043

I broke down and bought a new grip for the stack- my bottom hand area has really worn down and my fingers feel a little bruised after the last two sessions. Nice thing is I’ve been wanting to try the new UTx cord so I bought a single in blue and will throw that on there to test it out. I wondered if there is any information regarding speed training and grip size- I play with a mid size grip so I figured it would be best to train with the same size. Thoughts?

I regripped mine with the same Golf Price 360 that's on my driver - my thinking was practice like you play.

I'm getting close to replacing my stock grip as well.  Really getting worn on the bottom hand.  I've got a bunch of PURE grips from their going out of business sale so I plan on building it up with 4 wraps like my normal clubs.

I regripped mine with a midsize GP MMC about a year ago and it’s due for another one.

I Stack with rain gloves on too…have ever since my sweaty hands lost it once and sent to the stick flying!

I have a vague recollection that someone a la Peter Finch has done a piece on grip size and swing speed, but no clue about the differential between speed training grips and on-course grip sizes. I know I've seen several videos (Finch, Mark Crossfield, maybe even TXG?) about grip size and how it affects your swing and at least some data points to the control benefits of more amateurs playing thicker grips.

If you wanted me to just throw out a hypothesis, I'd wonder if a smaller grip would yield more speed in training and, as Sasho said, "speed is the training effect." So maybe developing speed with a thinner grip would help overcome any limitations posed by a thicker grip?

How are folks getting on with their post-Foundations course?

I just finished session 14 of Foundations and I'm back up to my peak eSpeed again from earlier in the program after a bit of a dip. I'll be interested to see how the final progress check goes.

I'm up about 7-10 MPH on the 195g club, but that's max swing compared to full swing too so probably not quite that big of a difference.

Mostly what I'm excited about it is after my last session I pulled out driver and took a couple swings.  No ball, but I tried to make a fast but controlled swing and twice in a row I was at 124mph.  I had just finished a session that was all Max swings so it's possible my attempt at a controlled swing was actually closer to a max swing, but either way I was very happy to hit those numbers with what I thought was a swing I'd actually take on the course.  

My current program is Neural Drive and I've completed 18 of 24 sessions.  I'll end up finishing this one in the next week or two and then I'll take at least a week off for a family vacation before starting the next session.

I did the same thing before my last session. I was at 115 with a very easy effort. No ball of course, but excited to see how this translates to the course in the spring.
