Hi everyone, firstly thanks to Jamie @GolfSpy_APH and the mod team as well as @Second_Chance_Ltd for this testing opportunity.
So a bit about me. I’m Mick, 52, married to my long suffering wife Michelle for the last 14 years and currently live on the edge of SE London, England. I’ve been a police officer for 28 years with the last 17 years spent in Traffic, or Highway Patrol for our US friends, and consists of deployments on cars and motorbikes. The below was us on an escort job last XmasIMG_4629.jpeg.222be3ee3d9fa1bff778e0c11d0ab48e.jpeg
I try to play at least twice a week, if not more,  but not always possible with shifts. I am currently playing off 16.4 and this is mainly due to inconsistency on my part. Like most of us I have periods of great golf and then absolutely awful rounds. My handicap has got worse lately due to some particularly bad rounds and I’m hoping to improve it.
One area I am looking at for improvement is with my grip. I was involved in a bad motorcycle collision nearly 12 years ago which has left me with limited movement in my left hand which complicates things. I’m hoping that I can get a consistent grip set up with assistance from this glove as I believe this could go some way to improving my typical slice. I’m also going to be looking at the fit of the glove, how easy it is to use the grip set up pattern, how durable the glove is and how it performs in different weather conditions. If the glove works as claimed I’m expecting to see a more consistent shot shape hopefully. If there is anything you’d like to see in the testing please let us know.

UNBOXING/FIRST IMPRESSIONS (8/10)

The glove arrived within a few days of my size being submitted which impressed me due to the speed of delivery. It was packaged in a lined Jiffy bag but the postman still managed to bend it which left a crease in the glove packagingIMG_0010.jpeg.a6efdf02467002836e5752ffa14e56dc.jpeg

Thankfully this didn’t have any effect on the glove.
The outer packaging of the glove has a large image of the glove on the front with some of the qualities and features of the glove listedIMG_0011.jpeg.077a6059990fdcd13561ef45f4df950a.jpeg

The rear of the packaging gives further details and highlights the key areas of the gloveIMG_0012.jpeg.3fdd4b6f36abec849eb36fa4592754ef.jpeg

Inside the packaging is also a QR code which takes you to a series of instructional videos that take you through how to use the glove. I found these videos were clear and concise and easy to follow.IMG_0014.jpeg.053b4f26e49c1427d061da3838c766b0.jpeg

The glove itself is a lot more tacky than I expected with silicone grips on the thumb, fingers, palm, and not just in the blue alignment line. IMG_6667.jpeg.152ef8bb1d752558f3e1f01c43259f20.jpegIMG_6666.jpeg.8b6587c0c0665dad0cb4590572cd4b74.jpeg

IMG_0013.jpeg.c008ae100662bdfadcc5e07a3c7e525e.jpeg

The glove has microfibre on the back of the hand and along the fingers to give it breathability. I will be interested to see if this works as there are no ventilation holes on the glove which worries me that it may become rather sweaty but we shall see.

The glove doesn’t come in traditional sizes but is designed to stretch a little and then fit snugly. I was rather dubious about this initially as I like a tight, snug fit in my glove and was concerned that this might not be the case here. I normally wear a medium glove and ordered the small/medium glove. They come in sizes S/M M/L or L/XL. I found that the glove fitted pretty well and felt comfortable so no problem there but it does feel thicker than my usual glove, FJ StaySof, so will see if this is the case and what feel I get for the club through it.IMG_0015.jpeg.de8dbc7b15033a0d9088fc029a481a7d.jpegIMG_0016.jpeg.6d9508d7ea2082facc69ffdc5aa1839f.jpeg

The blue markings on the glove are there as a visual aid to show that you are gripping the glove correctly. The line across the palm for the club to sit across, the patch on the knuckles so you can easily see those 2 knuckles and the arrow to be pointing to your shoulder.
The idea is that by using these 3 aids you will grip the club consistently and therefore improve your game. Let’s hope it works 👍

I have deducted a point for the glove being thicker than I prefer and a point for there being no ventilation

Aesthetics (8/10)

The glove does not look like a traditional golf glove and I guess this is to be expected as it is more of a training aid. The blue visual markings do stand out, which is the whole idea. The back of the glove does look a little mismatched to my eye with the positioning of the microfibre, which is black, in contrast to the white of the rest of the glove.
The palm of the glove looks much more uniform and pleasing to the eye. The blue band across the base of the fingers is easily visible and to me doesn’t detract from the look of the glove. The silicone grip areas of the glove do stand out and add some bulk to the glove compared to a standard glove. I would definitely say that the glove is not designed to look pretty but functional and to that end the aesthetics have succeeded and done their job. However on a personal note it’s not a glove that I would choose to wear all the time as I prefer a more traditional, sleeker look. If the microfibre was white to match the rest of the glove then I think it would look more appealing. It is designed as a training aid though so looks are not necessarily high on the agenda.
I’ve deducted 2 points based on this

The Fit and Feel (17/20)

The glove fitted my hand pretty well. It was nice and snug and the finger length was good. The feel of the material is ok but personally I prefer a leather glove. The glove did feel thicker than I prefer but part of this is down to the silicone on the glove to assist with grip. The grip on the glove, with the silicone, was really good and the club never felt like it was moving in my hand. It feels nice and tacky and feels comfortable. This reinforced the ideal of the glove, which was to give a consistent grip. The glove is just thicker than I prefer and my personal preference is for the feel of a leather glove.

On the course (20/20)

The idea behind the glove is that it will give you a consistent grip with the blue visual aids to ensure the club is held across the base of the fingers, you can see the top 2 knuckles and the V between thumb and forefinger is pointing towards the right shoulder. This should then give a neutral grip that gets the ball flying straight. Initially I found that I was holding the club as I should be but I needed to turn my hand a little more clockwise to be able to see both knuckles with the blue patch on. This had the effect of closing the club face more and as my usual miss has been a fade to the right it corrected it and gave me a much straighter ball flight. It took a little getting used to and felt strange at first but once I got used to it then it became more natural. With consistent use of the glove I found that I was able to maintain the grip even when not using the glove. My game definitely improved with drives and iron shots going much straighter and my typical fade was virtually eliminated. That’s not to say I hit every fairway but my misses were down to aim issues rather than not hitting the ball straight.
Due to it being summer I’ve not been able to test the glove in the wet but the glove is marketed as an all weather glove so hopefully the silicone would keep the grip intact. In the warm weather I’ve played in the glove has performed well. My initial concerns about the lack of perforations were unfounded as the microfibre breathes really well. I didn’t get any sweat marks on the back of the glove and my hand didn’t get overly warm.
Since using the glove my handicap has come down by a whole shot and I’ve been hitting some great scores. My FIR and GIR scores have both improved, all of which has been down to the straighter shots I’ve been hitting thanks to the grip change.

The good, the bad, the inbetween (18/20)

Starting with the good, this glove does exactly what it is intended to do. It gives a neutral, consistent grip that promotes a straight ball flight. It has definitely improved my typical fade and I’m now hitting the ball much straighter.
The visual aids on the glove, in blue, stand out and make it really easy to ensure you grip the club consistently. The additional tuition videos are easy to follow, not too long and a nice touch. The glove has a great tacky feel to it and holds the club well. It fits comfortably, feels secure and breathes well.
The bad points for me are few and just personal preferences really. The glove is just a little too thick for my liking and I would have preferred the microfibre to be white rather than black just so the glove looks better. They are only minor points and don’t detract at all from what the glove is designed to do.

The in between for me is that I wouldn’t necessarily choose to use this glove all the time on the course. It’s designed as a training aid and to me this is how it should be used. Once you’ve used it regularly so that the grip becomes instinctive and natural, which it does, then I would use it at regular intervals to reinforce the grip and ensure I’m still getting it right. The glove is marketed as being washable and then reusable however I haven’t had the opportunity to test this yet so I’ve put it in the in between section.
Play it or trade it (19/20)
As a training aid this is a great product. It does exactly as it’s designed to do and ensures you have a good neutral grip. Once you’ve used it enough so that the grip becomes natural then I would only use it on the course at intervals to ensure I was maintaining the grip. I would however use it at pretty much every visit to the range to keep that grip reinforced. This is down to my personal preference of a thinner leather glove. It is an item that I will continue using, and benefit from, just not always on the course. However it is designed as a training aid so this could be exactly the way it was intended to be used.
For the price of the glove this is great value for the benefits it gives and well worth the money.

Conclusion (90/100)
This glove does exactly what it was designed to do. It gives a neutral grip that promotes a straight ball flight and eliminates hooks and slices. It is thicker than a typical leather glove but it breathes well and is a great training aid. For the price it is well worth the money and for anyone wanting to achieve a consistent ball flight then I would highly recommend it. It will continue to be a go to training aid for me

Here is my Final Review of the Me and My Golf Glove scores are after the intro and there is a final TLDR at the end if you just want to get to the final yes or no on the product.

Hello Everyone,

Firstly, thanks for the opportunity to test and I hope my review is as helpful to the MGS community as the reviews I have read in the past.

So, to start with the details about me.  I am a 40-something golfer from Longmeadow, MA up in the shortened golf season northeast.  But as any of my fellow northeastern golfers can tell you what we lose in season length we make up with a lot of great relatively inexpensive golf courses so there are plenty of opportunities to get out.  I am a former college professor and current higher ad administrator so numbers and data are how I tend to process things, but I will try to keep things from being too dry.

Like many on this forum with busy lives I try to balance my want to be on the course with work and family, so I don’t have a lot of time to work on my game after all these years I am still trying like many to kick a big slice of my drives and find consistency in my game which tends to draw me to a lot of these at your pace game fix products.  Back in the younger pre-adult responsibility days (those of you juggling more than the one little one I have to solute your time management abilities) I had chipped away and gotten down to high teens to low 20s handicap, but now in my 40s have been reduced in the last couple of years to no more than a handful of rounds a year I have crept up to a 35ish handicap looping to try to get back to being able to break 100.  The good news since I sit all day at work, on doctors' orders to increase my weekly exercise, and want to get off my backside using something I enjoy doing, I have gotten the all-clear from my wife to increase my golf output this year and this combined with introducing some new colleagues to the game of golf this year putting me teacher mode has got me both back into the game of golf and trying to work on my game seriously to make some improvements and get back to breaking 100.

I am looking forward to testing these gloves in a couple of areas.  Firstly, to see if they even fit a golfer like me mainly because finding a glove I like has always been a bit challenging.  I waffle between xxl and cadet xl depending on the brand due to my Yogi Berra catcher mitt hands.  Because of my big mitts, I have spent a lot of time this year, after finally getting fitted clubs last year as an anniversary present from my wife, trying to find the right grip size and have experimented with everything from standard grips through midsize and oversized/jumbo (currently I am in a mix of midsize iron grips with my woods using jumbo max large).  So another area I hope to test for folks with this is to see if these gloves give a consistent grip placement across a variety of golf grip sizes.  Of course, I am also hoping to use the local trackman golf lounge to see if the numbers show increased consistency and cut down my slice with a more consistent grip approach so we will see if this glove/training aid lives up to its game improvement claims as well as anything that can help straighten out my slice for only $30 is well worth it.

Overall Short Summary:

I know I can be a bit long-winded so I thought I would start this with a brief summary for those looking for a quick yes or no on is this product worth a try.  I think the short answer in this case is pretty simple YES.  As a mainly self-taught golfer, I have only taken a lesson here and there and have been told I had a weak grip in the past but before this glove, I was never able to really understand what I was doing wrong.  The visual clues and tactile feel you get with this glove will let you get a stronger grip.  This will take time I did not get comfortable with this for a solid 3 weeks and still after over six weeks need to work on my bottom hand more.  But I can confidently say that this glove helped me improve distance, shot direction (straightness), and consistency over the last six weeks.  I still tend to miss right but my worst misses in my final round of golf with the glove on were ten yards in the deep rough whereas before similar misses were an OB lost ball.  The best endorsement I can give for this glove is that in this final round, I finished the round with a single ball lost to the woods to the right which tends to be found on many of the New England and of the Northeastern US courses I spend my rounds at.

I tried to provide everyone with some info on using this glove, especially with different size club grips, and comparing it to the size and fit of other traditional gloves for golfers with a larger  (XXL) size hand I hope some of my fellow golfer's with catcher mitt hands find this useful.

Overall Scores with Details below:

First Impression: 8 of 10

Aesthetics: 9 of 10

Fit and Feel: 18 of 20

On the Course 20 of 20

The Good, The Bad and The In-Between: 16 of 20

Play it or Trade it 20 of 20

Total Score 91 out of 100 (The teacher in me can't resist so it's a solid A-)

First impression and initial fit comparisons score 8 of 10:

The glove itself is well made and a good mix of flexible and tackey with both visual and tactile feedback when gripping a club.  The videos you get are short and informative but lack any real full explanation as to how to set up with the glove if you were looking for a stronger or weaker grip, it only presented one option and I have had issues with getting my trail hand to be able to line up in the ideal grip presented due to hand size and flexibility.  It did take about three sessions to get the blue tacky material in the finger that aligned club in fingers to soften up the first couple of range days the stiffness right in the finger joints was uncomfortable.  In all though with the initial impression I was both satisfied and feel like this product passed the initial sniff test with flying colors.

Aesthetics 9 out of 10:

This is a nice glove it has both a modern look with the blue alignment patches and a classic black and white color skim.  I think they did an excellent job of balancing having a color that stands out for alignment with the blue that looks nice but is not overly bright annoying or distracting.  If you are a golf purist, you might not be willing to wear it as your everyday foursome glove at the club but as a patron of the under-50 dollar-a-round municipal system of the world, I can say I never got a weird look or even a second glance while wearing this during regular round plays.  I tend to sneak rounds in after work as a single and even play into another group with no comments on this glove being out of place or looking bad, so I think that puts this firmly in the plus on the looks column.  The only reason I score it 9 out of 10 is honestly I would have liked a little more contrast in the different areas from a pure training perspective maybe using multiple colors to represent the different areas of grip that it helps you focus on (knuckles, crock of the thumb, and line in the fingers) just so these areas stand out more form each other. In the end, this is a quality glove with double-stitched good materials and it did not have the training patches I think it could easily pass for something similar to the FootJoy tropicool line if they used black on the back instead of white fabric.

Fit and Feel: 18 of 20:

Detailed fit comparison - TLDR fits even a large had very well the l/xl seems to fit between the xxl and xl cadet gloves I normally use

I started by comparing glove size and fit to some other gloves I have used and had on hand.  I started by comparing to the Mizuno XL cadet (my current gamer that just took me to the brink of breaking 100 on Saturday), a foot joy XXL which has been a reliable glove I bought at an end-of-season sale last year but a little long in finger length, the last of my stock of a discontinued under armor model (XXL) which was my go to, and the last of my stock of a discontinues model of Callaway Weather Xtreme gloves (XL) I bought a few years back for wet rounds.

The only reason I am deducting some points on the fit and feel is that this glove has a little bit more of a break-in period needed than a regular soft leather glove.  The blue silicon portions of the finger were a bit stiff out of the box and even pinched a little for the first uses but after a couple of range sessions and a round it softened up and this was not noticeable by the end of the review window.

Overall, I was impressed with the fit I got from the Me and My golf glove.  The more flexible black material allowed the glove to conform well to my hand without feeling too tight or loose.  The finger length to hand width was very well proportioned, especially for someone with a larger thicker hand like myself.  The materials also seemed well constructed (solid double stitching throughout and the silicon-like material areas also initially felt very sturdy).  The main glove materials are lighter than some of my other glove models so I am interested to see how the glove as a whole as well as the gripper portions hold up over repeated swings and use.

Mizuno is Cadet xl sized footjoy is xxl so the me and my glove if right in the middle which worked well for me.

First Day at the Range Initial Impression and usability with different size club grips:

The first trip to the range was a success.  Before I get into the range numbers I wanted to share some images of the glove with various golf grip sizes ranging from standard to the recently popular jumbo grips to give folks who use different grip sizes an area of reference.

The glove fits my large hand well and the ailment aids and fit work well for a variety of golf grip sizes from standard to jumbo max.

On the Course (as well as the sim and the range): 20 out of 20

On the course, I saw both improved distance and shot consistency.  Even initial early testing showed positive results for me in this area (see data below) All in all I feel like the glove let me calm and settle and not have to worry about my grip at every swing.

TLDR -Wedge saw both distance and consistency gains

Overall with this first range session, things look promising with some distance gains but the big takeaway of the day is consistency.  Although I did not see my rightward shot (from open club face) disappear instantaneously I did see an increase in the consistency of shots from a stronger more consistent grip

In continued testing, the driver data remained similar throughout testing.  Irons and wedges saw greater gains in both distance and consistency the longer I settled into the new grip this glove set me up in.  By my final round, I was about a club longer in my Iron game (for me that is about a ten-yard gain), and all clubs were more constant in both hitting to my point of aim and general shot repeatability for me.  My 40 or more-yard slice (especially driver off the tee) has decreased to more of a 10 to 15-yard power fade still a rightward miss tendency but improving and I hope to see even better gains in both these areas when I get more settled in my bottom hand.  (see the good the bad and the in-between section)

The best image I can give to show this is this seen iron into a long par four by the end of testing I was definitely hitting more greens and this was a seven iron on a course I play regularly where in the past I had needed a 6 or even a 5 for a similar shot to this green

IMG_1382.JPG.4bfb07e51293157b77aece92e7d68a06.JPG

TLDR For the Course- Gained about ten yards distance and cut my pronounced right slice into a moderate right fade.

The Good, the bad, and the in-between 16 out of 20:

The Good: This training aid lives up to its claims.  If you want a stronger grip that will promote a bit of distance and shot consistency using it can help you.

The Bad: The reason for the lower score is not the product itself but the supporting materials provided with it.  The accessory training videos although informative and good need more, especially some images or guiding views from the golfer’s perspective to show proper grip alignment, especially with the lower non-gloved hand and how it should interact with the gloved hand.  At this point, I feel like my top hand setup is 100% there and was probably there after about week three of using the glove.  But I am still not fully settled on my bottom hand and don’t have confidence I am strong enough and placing my bottom hand consistently.  I tried to make this a focus toward the end of testing but still am not completely settled so I will keep working and check back in

Additionally, my impression is this glove and the alignment it creates is for a very STRONG grip although this helped my game I do feel I gained yardage and consistency from training my grip with this glove if you are trying for a weaker grip this may not be the best product for you (although I think with some testing someone looking for a weaker grip could still find a way to use this product to be consistent just based on using consistent visual and tactile feedback from the glove this just doesn’t match the ideal grip the tutorials portray).

Play it or Trade it 20 out of 20:

Not only is this staying in my bag I am debating buying another one for me so I have a fresh one to start next season while I keep the tester for practice.  I played a couple of rounds with my brother during the testing phase and although he has a much smaller hand than me I am probably going to send him one for his upcoming birthday as he is looking to have a more consistent grip as in his game as well. Long story short this is a training aid that lives up to its promises and is an affordable and practical way to improve your swing grip.

Conclusion: (TLDR)

Will this glove instantly straiten every shot you take and give you a perfect grip out of the box, nope.  That’s not what it's for, it’s a training aid you have to use it.  When using the glove as promised by the manufacturer I did see consistency and distance gains in my game with the glove and the stronger grip it helped me create.  This took time though,  The new grip was not instantly comfortable or natural I took at least about 5 hours or so of range time, and a round or two on the course to feel like this new grip was my new grip.  But by the end and at this moment I can for the price and the results this would be a great training aid for anyone trying to get to a stronger grip.

By the end of testing after putting in 6 rounds of golf (ok really 5 as two were quick 9 hole rounds after work) about 6 hours on a trackman simulator of top shot tracer range, and probably another 10 hours hitting balls into the back yard net, this glove itself held up (still on great shape and will easily last through the rest of the season and my new grip feels comfortable.  I don’t think I am perfect yet though and I still have some work to do to keep my bottom hand strong (to help get that club faced closed at impact) but what I can’t praise this product for enough is that it took one major worry or thought out of my swing routine when wearing the glove by the end I wasn’t thinking about my grip any more I could see and feel my grip was consistent shot to shot so I no longer had that worry and could just grip the glove and get in a swing routine without worrying about my hands or my grip.

Final TLDR - If you need a stronger grip give this glove a shot its $30 and if you put some range time in and give it a chance I think it will help for that reason alone it stays in my bag and I would recommend to anyone looking to improve their grip and get consistent.

My name is Paul and I am 68 years old, and I live in western Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley. We moved to Virginia in 2003 from Southern California, and boy oh boy, what a culture shock that was! I spent the first part of my career in IT, and later switched to sales.  The switch was a difficult one for me learning to relate to people rather than technology.  I started golf, oh, about 10 years ago.  Not for the reason of enjoying the game, but more to be able to spend time on the course with customers and prospects.  What I found out was….. I LOVE IT! I started with a set of used clubs; irons, fairways, driver, putter.  Took some lessons (the best choice I could have made), and later on my wife gifted me a set of fitted irons.  Since that time golf has become a “Money Pit” and certainly become an obsession for me.

I retired in March of 2023, but after getting into my wife’s way a lot around the house, she told me to go out and do something besides getting in her way!  I took a part time job.  I golf about once a week and have a practice about once a week as well.  I will say the part time job does help pay for my golf habit!

As I get older, I find that I struggle with keeping my weight up, and along the same lines, my muscle mass.  Being 6’1”, I struggle to keep my weight no lower than 170 pounds.  Having diabetes also compounds the issue for me.  Surprisingly, weaning an insulin pump on the course is not too much of an issue.

Thank you for the opportunity to test this product.  I will be comparing it to my current ‘goto’ glove: Bionic StableGrip Golf Glove. Keeping my grip has always been problematic for me.  I can feel the club moving during my down swing, and have found the Bionic helps with that.  I will also be considering durability and the weather as I evaluate.

First Impressions:

  • I was anticipating the arrival of the glove on the 31st, but it did not show until yesterday, the 2nd.  Arriving home I found it on my doorstep.  Opening the box I found I was a little surprised at how soft and tacky it felt.  I had anticipated it being sticky on the blue channel in the palm of the glove, but found other areas, not blue, were rather gummy as well. Putting the glove on I found it was tighter than I normally wear.  When I submitted the size I wanted, I followed the manufacturer's site for measurement and chose a S/M size.  I normally wear a medium with my go to glove, the Bionic StableGrip Golf Glove.   I do not think this will cause an issue, but it is a bit snugger than I usually play.  I can flex and bend my left hand without issue, I find it an attractive glove.  Tomorrow I am going the the range for some practice time with it.  Seeing how it feels when hitting a ball, and again comparing it to the Bionic StableGrip.  After that, on Monday, I will play my first round of golf with it.  Also I do want to view all the videos the manufacture provides concerning this glove.IMG_1933.jpg.2b553af9288ee16d67193d0bb4299acb.jpg

Update 8/5/24

Update:

I reviewed the 3 videos with the link provided, thought I understood everything and headed out to the range two days ago (Saturday) with the goal of playing my first round of golf today (Monday) with the new glove. Arriving at the range rather early on Saturday, early mostly because it was the weekend, I wanted to make sure I could get a spot.  The range I go to has many bays for hitting off a mat, but limited areas to hit off turf.  I have tried in the past to hit off a mat, and I just cannot achieve the results I want.  I was fortunate that I was the first to arrive and secured prime real estate on the turf.  Putting on the glove, doing some stretching, I start my normal routine on the range; starting with my pitching wedge, working my way up….pitching wedge, 9 iron, 8 iron, all the way to 4 iron.  Then I started next with my 3 hybrid, 5 wood, +4 wood and then Driver.  I finish the set with my 54 degree and 52 degree wedges, which are typically the worst part of my game.  That day, I COULD NOT HIT A BALL!  It would typically hook, and traditionally when I mis hit, I slice.  The distances were equally terrible.  I said some really bad words, Navy words even.  I was in 1972 to 1978, and I can still revert to that way of talking when I am really ramped up.  Leaving the range that day I was considering either selling my gear on Ebay, or even throwing them off a cliff.  Actually on the way home I had in mind a couple of great overlooks along the highway in the mountains that would have worked nicely.

Since my performance was so abysmal on Saturday, I decided to not play as planned today, rather return to the range and figure out what was going on.  Besides, it would have been a solo round and that is not my favorite anyway.  When I arrived I did the setup and hit a few balls.  What I discovered was I could not hit the ball with the setup as described in the videos:

When I did, I received the same results as on Saturday.  However this time, instead of reverting to Navy language I started adjusting my grip, and all of a sudden… Magic.  Using a grip closer to what I have always used, the ball flew longer and straighter than on Saturday, and in the case of the clubs that have traditionally caused me problems (5 iron, 4 iron, and 3 hybrid) much better than I have ever hit them.  Driver and fairways performed well, as well as my irons.  I still have work to do with my 54 and 53 degree wedges, but as of this point in time, I am feeling more confident in the glove.

Final Review 10/31/24

My first impressions of this product were positive.  I really liked how it looked, and after I got used to how it felt on my hand, I liked that as well.  As I previously stated it felt a little tighter than my usual glove, but the more I used it, the better it felt.  One thing that I noticed immediately is how tacky, meaning sticky not crude, it was.  At the start I was not certain how that would play out, but again, the more I used the glove, the more I became comfortable with that aspect of the Glove.  Since in the beginning the glove was tighter on my hand, there was some adjustment in putting it on and taking it off.  Nothing that was a massive problem, just one more thing to get used to.  I believe it to be made of several materials.  White leather and some sort of black breathable material.  In the palm, thumb, and fingers is a white tacky material on top of the leather/  Finally there is a blue material on the knuckles, fingers and thumb that is used for alignment.  I cannot say as to whether or not other players noticed this glove, as I never concern myself with what others think. I found it comfortable to wear for 18 holes of golf, but that was after I became used to how snug it felt on my hand.

Where this glove failed, in my opinion, was the play.  I simply could grip the club as indicated in the training videos, nor hit the ball as long as I could with my usual golf glove, the Bionic StableGrip Golf Glove.  When I forced myself into the indicated grip, the results were abysmal, felt totally awkward, and the ball went nowhere.  When I used a grip more closely aligned to what felt natural to me, the shots were straighter, but around ten to twenty percent shorter.

My Grading:

Initial Impression: 10 out of 10

I liked how it looked and how it felt on my hand.  I also liked the stickiness of the glove.

The Fit and Feel: 18 out of 20

As I previously mentioned, when I first put the Glove on my hand it felt too tight, or at least tighter than I was used to.  However as time went on it felt more and more comfortable.

On the Course: 5 out of 20

This is where the Gove truly failed for me.  I just could not grip the club as described in the training videos.  When I tried, I failed miserably.  I have not given up trying, but am close to giving up.

Misc: 5 out of 20

I did enjoy the look and feel of the Glove.  I also liked the way the club felt in my hand when I used a grip that felt natural to me, and not the way indicated by the videos.  I liked the straighter shots I experienced when using the Club. The product arrived earlier than stated, that is always a positive.  I did not enjoy the multiple emails from the manufacturer attempting to get me to sign up for additional training.  Additionally I did not enjoy the shorter shot distances I experienced.

Play it or Trade it: 3 out of 20

I would not use this product for an important game, nor likely any game where I am tracking my handicap.  I am on the knife’s edge of reaching a handicap goal, and feel I will not get there using this Glove.  For what the retail price of this Glove is, it just would not be worth it to me.

To wrap it all up, this is not a glove for me.  While the look and feel are nice, the performance was just not there for me.  Perhaps it might work for a younger, more flexible player, but I just could not make it work.

Final Score: 41 out of 100

I am a golf gadget nerd too, some I have loved and have been helpful, other let me down. (man my buddies hated on me when I started using brush tees instead of regular now half of them use them too because of the consistent tee height and not breaking tees every drive)

I’m hoping it will improve grip consistency and therefore give a more consistent shot. I don’t think it will change the swing but looking forward to finding out

As someone who is actively reading up on and trying to improve my own grip consistency, I would argue that grip style and consistency definitely impacts how you swing. How tight you hold your clubs, the location the club sits in your fingers all play in to the path of your club during your swing. I'm very interested to hear if this glove helps decrease (or even fully remove) the inconsistencies in gripping clubs which in turn likely makes your swing all together more consistent.

Congratulations testers!!

I have a cobra rad speed driver, cobra fly z 3 and 5 wood, taylormade m1 irons (5-PW), Top Flite Gamer wedges (52,56,60), and odyssey white ice putter. When I’m playing to keep score I typically play the Maxfli Tour X. When just getting a round in with friends or scrambling I play whatever I might find on the course or might find at the bottom of my bag.

I totally agree with what you’re saying but I meant that it wouldn’t change your swing with regards to the mechanics of the actual swing itself. Yes, the grip will change the position of the club face at impact but it won’t change how you swing the club. For example if my natural swing is out to in my grip won’t change that but it would change the position of the club face at impact. If the glove gives me a consistent club face position at impact then I can adjust the angle of how I hold the club face accordingly to achieve the ball flight I’m looking for. Hope I’ve made sense there as I think I’ve lost myself 🤣

Yup, totally agree with you on the club face positioning and mechanics as part of your grip and ultimately your swing I think we're saying the same thing, just using different words to do so. Good luck with the test! I'll be following along through the thread!

Way to go testers. Have fun. Durability is one of the factors I'll be waiting to read about. Also watching for what I call dry ability. The ability of a glove to recover over night.
