PXG Gen 7 Irons - 2024 Forum Review

@Coulter Great shot with the 4 iron!

It's just a matter of time before you are breaking 80 on the reg!

For everyone following along.....

If you haven't ever done a fitting or it's been years and your swing has changed, do yourself a favor and check out the PXG's.  From the initial appointment, the fitting, and the performance, PXG has far surpassed expectations!

It also appears that right now fittings are $25.... where can you find that deal???

That is a pretty sick price. I want to go in for the Lucky 7 and go 22° hybrid, 6-PW Gen 7 P irons, and Sugar Daddy III 50° 😎

Pfft, that is already every day after picking up the Amazon packages at the post office...Did any of y'all have the weights replaced or changed out during fitting or check in's? Forgive me if this was mentioned prior, just thought of it and wondering how that helped.

All my weights are changed out to something a little heavier to get my swing weight to D2...I game a midsize grip so the weight manipulation was necessary to avoid a swing weight that was too light.

Don't let @Josh Parkerfool y'all.. It might only be $25 for the fitting but ur not gonna swing these irons and not buy them and if u do they will be on ur mind every second ur on the course lol.. I've got my golfing buddies jealous bc of the distance I've gotten off of the mishits..I meant to grab my 7i but was talking and grabbed my 9i on accident yesterday on a 156 and put in within a few feet of the green.. These clubs are just built different

Got to play 3 holes today after work trying to get a few more pictures. I had to go off the back 9 since the men’s golf association had just started on the front when I got there and shot par, par, bogey. Now that bogey looks bad. Considering it was my nemesis hole and I of course hit the ball to the right and in the water I couldn’t be happier with how those 3 holes went!

I have a cobra rad speed driver, cobra fly z 3 and 5 wood, PXG 0311 P Gen 7 irons (4-GW), 54&58 degree Sub70 246 wedges, Tommy Armour #2 wide blade putter. When I’m playing to keep score I typically play the Maxfli Tour X. When just getting a round in with friends or scrambling I play whatever I might find on the course or might find at the bottom of my bag.

I mean, it's one way to get down the course. You definitely get your money's worth that way.

My math tells me ur paying about $1 a swing at some courses.. I've gotten that all the way down to .35¢ when I shoot well over 100🤟.. It's all about the bottom line!

They also keep all our specs in their computer. Plus when you call (at least my experience) you have the same phone fitter assigned.

The course just about pays me at this point with how much I play. I think I'll end up about $7 a round before taking all the range balls in to account.

Damn, hopefully that's my life one day! My work is constantly getting in the way of my course time.. Hoping to have a wrap around porch with my SIM and outdoor kitchen close together within the next year..will be able to flip the steaks between holes

Yes as I even emailed about the new putter. The response was “For the Allen putter, I would strongly recommend a putter fitting in person. If you cannot go in person, at least call your fitter, Tyson, directly for help.”

Not sure that I can explain how thankful I am for this testing opportunity and the fun I’ve had with it but maybe this picture of me and my son getting some work in with our pitching wedges can give a small glimpse into why I’ve had so much fun.IMG_4171.jpeg.eca43bc6f076d751af7f4824d2d67473.jpeg

As we are wrapping up testing on these clubs I'm going to save some photos for my final review.  However, I will say that these clubs are staying in the bag for the foreseeable future.

Here is one from today. PW from 140yds out with a high baby draw into a right pin location.
