I’ve seen a lot of green df3s recently - curious how that looks on a real green. I feel it would be distracting no?
Sam just had a video about it... I think on instagram. I'll try to link it later.
He wasn't initially sold on the green because it would be low contrast against the ground. But, what he found was that it made his alignment aid more contrasted and actually helped him. YMMV naturally, but I can see someone who things the DF3 is still a little big find that it plays visually smaller in green and maybe a bolder alignment mark would become the only focus.
I'm still partial to black, but the Cappuccino is also in the running.

This is the most expected response. @GolfSpy BOS you should have known this one before you asked it.
hey now... I know @dlow206 has played a lot of different clubs, but who's to say this isn't his first Vokey!?

Good Afternoon Spies!
I'm a little late posting today, but I'm still drinking coffee so I think it still counts!
Past few rides into the office I have been listening to the NLU guys (thanks for the reminder @GolfSpy_APH ) and It's been a nice change of pace from local sports radio all about the Red Sox forgetting that they are supposed to be a baseball team and the Patriots having no path forward.

I have played a lot of different wedges: Vokeys, Ping Glide, Mizunos, Tayloremade for a short time, Cleveland, Edel. Just about every major brand lol.
I was fit only for the Edel, those were off a mat, and primarily focused on full swing. For the Vokeys, I'm keeping an open mind, not sure what I will fit into.
Cool, can’t wait to see you find out!

I've been away for a bit. Still top 4 poster in this thread though lol.
Going for a Vokey SM10 wedge fitting on Saturday.
Have you been a Vokey guy before or first time getting fit for them? What do you think you’ll end up in?

DANG! (Or "DAG" as @GolfSpy SAM would say out on the left coast)
Quick Aside: 'Dag' is used as a less offensive version of 'dang' which, in turn, is a more civilized word for 'damn'. Just proving the point that our west coasters are more civilized than us New Englanders.
Back to the reason you're maybe reading this... DF3 goodness...
The DF3 is impossibly compact for how forgiving it feels. I don't even this this photo can convey it. It's so much smaller than the 2.1, but I really didn't feel a difference. The press Pistol 2.0 is by far my favorite version of all the press grips too.
Even among the other LAB putters the DF3 doesn't seem big... sandwiched in-between a Link.1 and Mezz.1:

Some more oldies
This is at Owls Nest in NH @StrokerAce as well, 19th hole a few years later in 2018. You can really tell how short @GolfSpy BOS really is here!
This one is from a memorial veterans tournament my uncle puts on every year. Turns out hundreds and has 2 4somes on every holes. It is a blast, this one is from 2017. My dad, my cousin, myself and my uncle from left to right:
and this one is something I am working on over the next few months, this is the first photo I have of my son swinging a club and have several more from the years since, going to make a collage for him for his room, this one has to be from 2015?:
That's so weird, looks like my ball was a good... 20 yards past yours there? Just the day before that photo too. Good thing I'm little.
(mine's the third ball up ahead there.... @Stankycheese is the one ahead of @GolfSpy_SHARK.)

Good morning all!
February vacation for the kiddos. Cold but sunny so hopefully I can get them outside to burn off some energy soon!
Sounds like it will be a good week to keep the putting mat setup since they seem to enjoy trying to get some perfect putts. Hope everyone has a good start to the week!

Aaah let me guess another one of us who have hit the big five oh???? I go pretty hard for my age and still have speed but just as you said if I don't swing for a few weeks I need warmth and a bunch of wedge work before I start swinging the big dog!! My swing emulates Jim Furyk after a handle of Tito's as is but swinging cold???? The fitter would laugh and kick me out of the store
No, more or less when I’m stiff I compensate by trying to swing hard which just forces an over the top move for me.
need a few real range sessions to get back into a good swing with the long clubs.

I hit the Max, as the TD is probably not what I need in my game. Still the swing was a bit... "fadey" yeah, that's what we'll call it, so I was getting around 3K spin and low 240 carries. Honestly, I'd be happy with that right now! lol
I was curious how it would feel without jailbreak and I'm happy to report it still felt good like most Callaway drivers have for the past several years. It's one I'll want to try out as I get back into the swing of things this season.
The longest drive came when I turned a Cobra Darkspeed max over and got a low spin bomb ball. I didn't get one of those with the Callaway but overall it was more consistent. The Denali shaft they tossed in was also the 70 so it was heavier and stiffer than the LinQ and probably not an ideal fit.
I wouldn't rule either out of contention though, I know that much.

Good Morning all!
@cnosil wins! The Golo 6 won't be making it down to Virginia... Not a bad putter, but not everything I was looking for.
I've currently got my eyes on something different.
Got to PGASS yesterday just to mess around. Got to hit some of the new drivers. Cobra DARKSPEED X with the LinQ white is a good feeling club, as was the Ai-SMOKE. They tossed the Denali shaft in there for me and I have to say that has some good feel too but was different than the LinQ. I also determined that me swinging a driver in February for any sort of actual fitting would be beyond pointless. I'm better off waiting until I thaw out and make some actual real swings!

Zalatoris with the ace on 14! Just won himself (and his caddy) a new car! Was a little nervous about his celebration given his recent surgery.
Love me some Willy Z! Thankfully I'm not in the other fantasy league so I don't have to deny trade offers for him anymore. haha

My putting isn't bad! And the ER2B performs well, might just be time to change up the look. I sort of surprised myself recently because I liked the look of the Two and most boxy sharp blade shapes. For the longest time my preference was the One shape with the more rounded bumpers, but the proportions of the Two just look right. Then it comes down to Ai-One vs Ai-One Milled.... and a flurry of other competitors for the bag.
Did I mention I putt well with ER2B? Why am I doing this to myself?

I've rolled both at the store. I think they're similar in size (well visually to me the 5.2 is a bit longer than the 5.1 which is closer to the x5.5). From a feel standpoint I think the Evnroll is softer feeling while not being mushy, but I am a fan of the Evnroll feel so YMMV.
If you're not in love with the scotty than it's probably worth giving it a shot!

Happy Friday all! We made it!
Looking forward to the long weekend now that basketball is over and we have nothing to do.... oh wait, the boys start baseball winter training to knock off the rust before evaluations in a few weeks...
At least I'm off Monday, but the kids are also on February vacation.

As much as I l love a dark or black finish on wedges, there is certainly an upside to a plain satin finish.
