Eseay32
I'm wanting one...not because every winning tour pro is making putts with them now....actually because I've always liked the look and feel of them. Shankster
It's marketing. Everyone wants one now. Subliminal messages, did you see the weights shining in the sun when Sergio made that last putt? Looked like headlights or something out of a sci-fi movie. 8 consecutive tournaments with it being the #1 putter is hard to argue with. OEM Kevin
Started off with the red spider limited from '16 but got away from it for a Scotty. Sold the red one and picked up the Spider Tour because it looks great in all black and the insert is a little firmer. Been using it since I got it and its a great putter. The lack of sight line concerned me at first but it sets up square so it hasn't been an issue. Last time I was in GG they still had them in stock. txgolfjunkie
Just got the Tour Black Spider. Lack of sight line frees up the stroke but as others have said, easy to square up. It's got a firm feel to it but the grip is a POS. Need to swap that out with something respectable. Haven't put it in play but I hope the black finish holds up on these south Texas sandy greens. PAgolfer2017
I have the Tour Black Itsy Bitsy and love it. At first, with the stock Winn grip I wasn't a fan of it. Installed a Pistol 1.0 with the counterweight and absolutely love it. Main reason I got mine is because I always loved the Spider shape but was never a fan of the white. Also love the fact that there's no site line. I normally focus on a spot a few inches in front of the ball, and I've found that I think a lot less about whether I'm set up right or aimed correctly. Now I just find my spot and putt Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Bag: 4.5LS Driver: Stealth 9* w/ Aldila Red 60 Fairway: SIM 15* w/ Diamana 70 Fairway: GBB Heavenwood 19* w/ Fujikura Pro 72 Irons: p790 4-PW w/ C-Taper Lite 110s Wedge: MG3 50 & 54 Wedge: Hi-Toe 60* Putter: Spider X Ball: TP5 PIX

Spur22
The white finish was a pos for real. Mine chipped away after 2 rounds. This was the case for me with the original Itsy Bitsy. Less than a year of use and the face was jacked. But of all the putters I've tried since none start the ball on the line I intended as consistently as that putter did. Really tempted to give the Tour Red a go. txgolfjunkie
The feel of these putters (all personal taste) is almost like a corked aluminum bat. My gamer is a Ping Ketsch and you can tell it's a solid putter. The Tour Spider feels like it's filled with some other material and gives it a bit firmer feel with a pop off the face. If you like buttery smooth, then this isn't your putter. If you like a firmer feel (but with a muted sound at impact) putter, then give it a shot. My humble opinion on the Tour Spider after a couple hours on the putting green is that it will replace the Ketsch as my gamer. The lack of sight lines frees up the mind on alignment and I'm seeing more putts drop. The distance control isn't too bad either. However, that could all change when I'm able to put it in play. One more thing, the grip sucks. I know I said it earlier, but this grip sucks. For a $300 putter...what a joke. tnabozny21
Put the Spider Tour Black in bag with a SuperStroke counter-core 3.0 a month ago. Couldn't be happier with the results so far. Much easier to roll the ball with consistent speeds coming from a blade putter. The feel of it gets better with each putt. I would recommend testing one out for sure. MrWellingtonINC
I have the Spider OS CB... i was debating between that and the blackout, but I really needed the aimlines, and the counterbalance keeps it very easy to control while it really swings itself. The regular Spider does look better in my opinion though. Ok_keith
I purchased one 4 months ago, great buy! The blind alignment really does free you up to focus on your stroke and technique. The top spin insert really keeps the long putts on line. I was having a little trouble with 5-8 footers, but after replacing the stock 2G weights with 14G a side, I've had no problems. I have never been a mallet guy, however the transition from my ping anser blade was seamless for those considering the transition.
