Happened a couple of days ago, was really hoping the police would recover them, but just got word that a credit card the burglar snatched from another car was pinged in another state. Seems I can kiss my babies goodbye.

 

Bright side is I didn't have my putter in the car, nor were my clubs in my normal bag. Time to scour eBay and Craigslist for a replacement set on a shoestring budget.

 

Don't be me. Me is not a happy camper right now.

Unfortunately my renter's insurance won't cover. Went to Golf Galaxy and found an old Taylormade hybrid for $40 just now. Chipping away!

Some insurances cover this, check with car insurance as well, if your car was unlocked then you could be out of luck. I had my hockey equipment stolen years ago, we had a late game, I got home at 1:30am, in the middle of winter, 15 degrees outside, I had work at 6am, so sometime between 2 and 5:30 when I got up it was gone, they only took the bag, left the sticks, I didnt get a dime from insurance because the car was unlocked.

You might take a stroll through a few pawn shops in the area, and check local listings of clubs for sale. Most likely needed quick drug money. Sorry to hear though, it's a tough one.

I feel your pain. Had 2 sets stolen. 1) broke into my shed, bag, Adams CMBs & a putter. Plus tools, air compressor, cycle lift. 2) freckin locker @ the course's clubhouse, bag, & everything including gps

The way a feel about thieves anymore, I'd shoot a 5 yr old stealing dandelions out of my yard.

Definitely check with your auto insurance! I had some stuff stolen out of my car a few years back and found out my state farm covered it, with a 500$ deductible. 500$ is better than 2Gs!

Sounds silly but I have been in your shoes and I take pictures of everything in my bag and keep track of the serial numbers just in case.

Happened at work unfortunately. The thief smashed a grabbed a few other cars in the lot, so the police report was started there. Don't want to add insurance fraud to the bucket list haha.

So sorry, this happened to me once about twelve years ago. Fortunately my home owners came through and my pro knew how to work around the deductible.
