Oh man I love me a good Cuban. We used to go to a French Bakery when we lived in Pacific Grove, CA (Pavel's). Best Cubans I've had. that looks damn delicious man!

Smoked some beef short ribs today

Really well marbled piece of meat, truly melt in the mouth stuff. Smoked with a few barrel chunks at around 240F for about 9 hours, simple salt, pepper and paprika rub. Next time with a similar looking piece I’ll go a bit higher temp to get a bit more crunch in the bark.

4 eggs over easy, one avocado mashed with hot sauce, lime juice, and trader joe’s “everything but the bagel” seasoning, two toasted english muffins.

Going to cook salmon tonight any decent recipes for cooking in the oven. I've always just salt and peppered it and pan seared looking for something different.

Steam it in tin foil. Olive oil or butter your choice, with lemon & dill, salt & pepper. Impossible to screw up.

Yesterday morning, my wife woke up and put her coffee in the microwave. She goes to get it out and it's still running with the door open. It actually felt like she slightly burnt her hand, so we had to go get a new one this evening. Along with the new microwave, we bought an Instant Pot! I know I've been talking about wanting one for a while here, so we finally made the leap. The best part? We got the 11 in 1 with the air fryer at the same price as the 7 in 1! It was $79.99 at Wal-Mart and I was giddy. 

Ahh, adulthood and the things that make you happy.

My wife got one last year, they’re pretty sweet in busy days when we didn’t have time to prep something or crock pot it. Super easy cleanup to.

I LOVE EBTB on avocado toast, or just in my eggs in general. 

Haven't been cooking much because we're in the middle of moving back to my mom's house while we sell our condo. Picked up some pretty nice Ribeyes from Costco yesterday and they're in the sous vide right now "getting happy" -- I'll post em again after they hit the cast iron
