STUDque
I'm sure it's just placebo, but I've been wearing a Phiten bracelet for a few years after wrist pain from being on a computer for 12 hours a day. Haven't had any since. I'm a skeptic when it comes to EVERYTHING, it goes beyond golf equipment, but it's honestly been helping me. Sent from my Pixel XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app I'm no hater on Phiten. I used to wear a necklace playing baseball and liked it. I had good feelings but that's probably just because I was young. Phiten is a Hawaiian company right? You must have all the good stuff. STUDque
I feel inclined to share this video seeing as though wrist injuries are top 5 of ailments golfers deal with. https://youtu.be/skaTciVIjak Here's my practice runs: I tell you what, HUGE difference with practice swings. I don't have a ton of pain but it is nagging so I'm doing everything I can to make it go away. I may even keep the tape after because I like the way it feels in my swing. Joeyj11
I had almost the same injury occur a few years back. Was moving a 65" theater wide projection TV and it dropped on my finger. Once all the kiddies in the house were done learning their first swear words we got the TV off my finger revealing what looked like a hot dog that had been microwaved too long! Went to a small town ER where they were convinced they would have to remove the tip of my finger. I fought that diagnosis and once they saw that the bone miraculously survived they put 16 stitches around the tip of my finger. It's still numb and had has a big scar to this day but it keeps the top hand grip loose. Blessing in disguise I guess, though I'd rather have the tip of my middle finger. I feel your pain but it gets better with time. My injury happened about 10 -12 years ago now and I only remember it now when it gets cold because the tip of that finger freezes almost immediately. STUDque
Can confirm the tape pattern made a world of difference. I re-taped after 9 but felt very little pain throughout the round. He would get all the craziest stuff (much like NYC with sports gear). It was my first exposure so I assumed it was a Hawaiin product. You taking about this bracelet? Webz59
Is it more, less, or the same stability as athletic tape? Sent from carrier pigeon using MyGolfSpy better than tape! Designed by an orthopedic specialist. Basically a simple brace that stabilizes the ulna bone so that the entire wrist is supported. I had bad wrist pain that I couldn't put pressure on it. STUDque
Aren't the copper sleeves just for compression? Compression in and of itself is great for ailments. Magnetism aside, I'd guess the copper adds stability which would help even more. If the above statements are true, then the copper sleeves would definitely help some but not all types of pain.
