Odyssey O-Works weight kit

Anyone know how to obtain the elusive weight kit? I can't find them anywhere online and really need to boost the head weight of my 1W from 350 grams to 360 grams. Or does anyone have any suggestions to increase head weight 10 grams without adding an entire roll of lead tape?

I actually know a bit about this from my experience with the O Works review last fall. I spent a lot of time on hold waiting to talk to Callaway CS and read a little around whatever other forums I could find.

Background: These weight kits have caught a ton of grief from the public for a few reasons: 1) they're a different fit than previous Odyssey putters 2) they weren't available at launch 3) they don't come included with the putters once they became available 4) they're hard to find and 5) they're expensive.

During my first CS call, I was told that they would be releasing soon so I called a few times a week to see if they had come available. Finally, I got a hit on the exact day they were made available. The rep I spoke with seemed fairly new but was happy to offer me a kit at no charge. I passed this hot tip on to the rest of the testers and they were told a different answer...which is the answer to the question you seek:

The O-Works weight kits are available for purchase by ordering through authorized Odyssey dealers. They cost $50 each.

So I got lucky but at least you have an answer. IIRC, the stock weights are 15g and the weight kit includes (2) 20g weights, (2) 10g weights and a little tool to get them out. They're really a pain in the butt to change out since you've gotta get the threads just right less they come off track and get stuck.

One other work around if you don't want to shell out the $50.

If you have the 10g weights installed the back side of the weight has a small hollow.  You can easily fit 5g of tungsten putty in that hollow.  Put 5g in each weight and you'll be at 360g for a lot less than $50.  You can pick that up online or at most hobby stores, usually in the pine wood derby section.

It should just be a standard driver wrench/tool to remove them.  When tightening I probably wouldn't go until it clicks, just get it nice and snug and you'll be fine.

Thanks Meyer! I'll probably go that route as it seems to be the easiest without running into serious issues installing new weights.

I see the weight kits online but they all say out of stock and STUDque's post causes some hesitation on my part.

Tungsten putty it is!!

Welp...I took a wrench to the weights and found them to be solid and 15g/each. Any suggestions to add the 10g or just hope one pops up online? B795F572-F188-404B-8049-181F4D305857.jpeg7B746993-83AB-4ACF-93E9-3B28BFF28737.jpeg

Yes, I used a food scale for the weight. Good to know the weights have zero sugar and zero protein.
