Driver shaft length

Recommended Posts

I've been jumping back and forth between a 45"driver shaft and a44"driver shaft and I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on that.  Iifind the middle better on the shorter shaft but it's a much higher cut which isn't good for our windy course. I'm torn because I have a x- stiff shaft for both, but the shorter one seems flimsy.  So I guess the second part of the question is anyone know a cheap x- stiff shaft that is actually good that I can make a little shorter.? The kuro kage is the longer shaft15895966478049075529751247644317.thumb.jpg.78c766cb80933ce5f4a5b4bf3c815aa2.jpg

There's a pretty good discussion about shaft length experiments here: https://forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/37769-driver-shaft-length-whats-being-tried/
